Excellent boarding service. I loved that my grumpy old cat was able to enjoy a studio that let her look outside and have multiple levels to climb around. I was able to leave a blanket for her so she had some smells from home. Photo updates via text also helped me feel good about boarding my cat here for a week. She's back home in perfect health and condition.

Josh L. here. The happy cat retreat was great for my two kitties! I just returned home from a weeks trip and the two of them are calm and happy as can be. The staff are incredibly kind and caring and they answer all of your questions without hesitation. My kitties loved the outdoor space and the indoor play time. They may both be crazy rascals, but I think that Happy Cat knows exactly how to care and love for any kitty. I would suggest this retreat for everyone, especially those who have anxiety about typical cat hotels you might find in a big city. All in all, wonderful people, wonderful care, and a wonderful setting that my kitties loved!

This place is amazing, Stan is a wonderful with a heart of gold. Truly cares about animals and giving them the love they deserve while we have to be away from them. I recommend this Cat Retreat whole heartedly. I was so afraid to be away from my kitty. But I know she was taken very well care of. 5 stars isn't enough to show how much I appreciate this loving place.

Not impressed with the facilities. It was dirty, smelled and cramped for my arthritic cat.
My cat is sore and can barely walk. He has sores on his face and ill need to take him to the vet. Probably to get antibiotics. I will never bring him there again and neither should you. I just hope my cat forgives me for leaving him there.

Stan & Mary are awesome! Our little Finn loved his stay at happy cat. The folks there truly care about all the cats staying in the kitty condos. Cannot say enough how great this place is! Would recommend this place to everyone for boarding all your kitty buddies. All the cats in the place were very happy and our Finn came back home happier than ever. Not stressed or unhappy one bit! Thanks again Happy Cat Retreat! See you next time!

My cats really enjoy their stays at Happy Cat Retreat. They've stayed several times and never had any doubts about using them again. Stan is a really nice guy & loves my cats. Happy Cat always makes sure my cat's shots are up to date and I can feel sure all the cats that stay here are up on their shots as well. We will continue using Happy Cat Retreat for a long time.

I had a family emergency and needed to board my moms cat quickly. Stan, the owner, was very nice and helpful to get her cat in to his facility. Unfortunately, it was very dirty, unsanitary and not at all what his website showed. I felt so bad leaving him there but Stan assured me he’d move Max to a “kitty condo” with a window. Max was never moved but was kept in his dark small space. When we came back to pick him up a week or so later Max had lost weight, smelled awful and was obviously distressed. I think this used to be a good place for cats but he can no longer keep up on cleanliness, repairs and all the needs of the boarded cats. I would never recommend this facility and would suggest to keep looking. We found an amazing cat boarding facility in Loveland to use now.

We booked a ten day stay for our cat Jane while we went home for the Holidays. This was our first time booking a stay for our cat and it was her first time away from home and us- So we were very anxious and nervous leaving our baby. Stan and Mary made us more comfortable and at peace than we could ever wish for. They took such good care of our baby. Their rooms are so spacious and cozy, having all your cats needs. Stan sent me updates and even pictures of Jane to keep us updated during her stay. He took her out to play, pet, and give affection. We will never book a stay anywhere else. We trust Stan and Mary whole-heartedly and are so thankful for them and The Happy Cat Retreat. We’ll be recommending them to all our furiends and we recommend them to you to!
