I highly recommend this office if you’re looking for a veterinarian to establish care for your pet. We’ve established care here since 2019 and every visit has been a pleasant experience. The staff and doctors are amazing. They are the kindest staff and very accommodating especially if they’re able to squeeze you in last minute.

Today they were able to squeeze in my dog Ollie for a visit and were so appreciative of them. My dog also has high anxiety for his visit and they ALWAYS take great care of him. Thank you Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital for everything!

Took my puppy in for his first visit and it was great! The whole staff were so friendly and able to answer all the questions I had. They made sure my pup was comfortable (by giving him plenty of treats so he would cooperate lol) and they were super efficient on time! Wouldn’t recommend them enough

I’ve been taking my dog here for 3 years and we love it. My dog is very nervous and they read his body language very well. They know dogs very well and understand that most are not aggressive, just scared. While other vets require him to wear a muzzle, they take their time to understand him until he’s comfortable without one. Love it here!

I’m a worry wart kind of dog dad of a new puppy and I was nervous at first. But the initial and following visits were consistent with care, kindness, and love towards my animal child. The staff is always patient with me and my questions. They are prompt with their responses. I feel their support for this whole journey. Thank you! I highly recommend!

We were taken immediately into a room, and the wait wasn’t long. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of the full exam came with a discount, so it was more than reasonable. We are very happy that we decided to bring our precious poodle here.

While the staff are very friendly my fiance and I had a major issue with care for our puppy on our second visit here. At our first appointemnt we had brought our pup in for a distemper vaccine and also discussed the leptospirosis vaccine. We told the Vet Dr. that we did not wish to give our small breed puppy the lepto vaccine at that time. He got his other vaccine and that was that.

On our second visit we were returning for some medications and borditella and distemper shots which we discussed and which the tech brought up for us on a spread sheet and reviewed the prices of so we would know what to expect prior to him getting them. We also discussed with the Vet which medications and vaccines we would be giving our pup this visit. They took him to the back for his vacccines and he was returned to us, then we went to the lobby to pay. At the desk a different staff member reviewed the medications we were expecting and the borditella vaccine then surprised us by listing not just distemper but a distemper/lepto combination vaccine. We had not discussed giving him the lepto vaccine at all this visit. This also added about 100 more dollars to the cost than what we were expecting. The staff member at the desk even went and checked for us with staff in the back whether this was true, returned and confirmed. We paid and left. They were transparent with us and their services up until that point. We're pretty disappointed that they would give something to our dog without our consent and intentionally ommit discussing service charges. More care should have been taken with communication and clarification of vaccines especially since it was the same Vet giving them who had seen him the last time. My hope with this review is simply that it would help others in their consideration of this office for their pets care and encourage increased communication between the staff and pet owners of the services and treatments that are being performed and customers are paying for.

So glad we decided to place our pets care with Happy Valley Vet Hospital. Our first visit was for a surprise wound our cat had been hiding, and they’ve helped us with so much care ever since. We originally decided upon HPVH, despite having a vet across the street from our home, for their special “calm cat certification.” This has been so valuable to us and our little neurotic cat.

They took care of the wound last year, and we returned with our dog who received excellent dental care, and will be bringing in our other cat soon. The team is fantastic, they checked up on our surgery recovering cat often, and they are so transparent in the cost of care. Being given all my options AND the cost AND how urgent each piece is has made veterinary medicinal something g our family can not only afford, but feel very comfortable paying for the care we want for our pets. I’ve never had such a good vet on my side!

My experience at Happy Valley Veterinary Hospital was very positive. Everyone we encountered was friendly and efficient. I definitely felt heard with regard to my questions and concerns. Dr. Evers and vet tech Nayana treated my boy Flynn with a tremendous amount of care and compassion! I will continue to trust HVVH with my pet care needs!
