Tried calling on a Monday morning because a stray dog wound up in my yard. Would have left him alone if it weren’t for my other dogs trying to attack him. Was told they were too busy and couldn’t get him until tomorrow. I thought y’all were supposed to help out animals. Very lazy and inconsiderate.

Drew and Pat were very supportive and timely with our needs. Appears all the internal changes including leadership will be positively impacting all law abiding citizens in Haralson County. I adopted a dog from here last year. He escaped and got hit by a car the day after...I tried repeatedly to get in Touch with them to tell them. Never answered. Then next thing I know, a friend of mine who works in the courthouse tells me that i have a court date that day (never received a paper or anything in the mail) if I wasn't told that day I would've spent jail time over a dog who died...I finally got in touch with them and she said "if you didn't get anything in the mail how did you know you had a court date today? " I told her someone had told me that worked at the courthouse and she rolled her eyes and made me sign a paper stating that the dog had died.
I Will NEVER adopt from here again..

They were all very kind to me when I wanted to place a notice about my lost dog. They encouraged me to look at all the dogs to make sure mine wasn't there. They also promised to keep an eye out for him. In the meantime I adopted another dog while I was there. The process was very smooth and very affordable. Everyone there was very helpful. I was impressed.

A very small kitten was put out across the highway from my home one day last week. The little kitty cried for hours before I was able to catch her and bring her to safety. I cleaned her up and fed her. I knew I could not provide a home for her. I called Animal Shelter and they was extremely nice. Took the little kitty in to care for and find a home for her. I would like to thank everyone for the kindness and concern for this little kitty some one threw away. All animals deserves a chance for life and a good loving home. I would have loved to keep her but I already had four kitties I had rescued from people putting them out near my home. I love cats and I just broke my heart to give her up but I feel I left her in good hands to a very concerned staff of people. Thank You so very much for all you do for the animals!

Never have any problem dealing with them, all of the dogs I’ve ever adopted are sweet and have been a loving part of our family, one for 12 years and one for 2 years.
