The Harrison County Fairgrounds is namely home to the Harrison County 4-H, FFA, and the annual Harrison County fair. You can find monster trucks, tractor pulls, and even demolition derby events throughout the summer that can be views from the elevated seating of the grand stand. They host seasonal craft bizarres, church events, and weddings all year long in the newly renovated and heated/airconditioned Windell Ag. building . The fairgrounds are well maintained and have recently updated the Homecomers Hall. The 4- H Show pavilion was a great addition and provides for an open area that can transform to suit various events. Great asset to the community ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was very muddy. There was big mud puddles coming off every ride. Yes it had rained the evening before but they could have put down some straw or something to at least allow people to walk without getting covered in mud.

Came here for the Spring Outdoor Vintage and Craft show....I enjoyed the overall experience, but disappointed compared to prior shows. The vendor selection was not a good as before...I did not spend nearly as much as I normally do... I will come back in hopes that more of the vintage dealers that skipped will return in the Fall..

The fairgrounds are pretty nice. The county fair was not. As a fairgrounds, the facility is nice, a new grandstand on the way. I'd like to see more signage, that is to say, more explanation about the barns, those benches by the spring and the spring in particular, and row markers on the parking. I'd like more benches, a large fountain, more things to look at.

So nice what they do for the kids for Halloween. I was shocked it was free. It would have cost good money to get into an event like that in a big city. I was totally impressed and thankful.
