What a lovely venue, hosted by friendly people, in a charming area of Georgia!

I arrived early and took a tour (read: wandered around with my wine, poking my head into dark closets and empty meeting rooms). I did not encounter a ghost, though to be fair, I never do.

The rows are rather close together, perhaps a remnant of a thinner time in our country, but the closeness added to the intimate feel of the venue.

I look forward to returning for more plays!

This is such a beautiful historical place. All of the events that we have seen here are wonderful! They have a wide variety in concerts. Magic shows,Comedy shows,etc. We will definitely be back!

First time visiting. Loved the concert by Twitty and Lynn. Assigned seats would be better. Didn't like the fact that he was hard to find 4 seats together in VIP section.

Great venue for theater productions and Dance recitals, it has a very authentic antic feel. Very beautiful inside, but does have limited seating.

It's been a couple of years now but Paranormal Society of Middle Georgia had the very unique and rare opportunity to investigate one of Georgia's most haunted locations the Beautiful and mysterious Hawkinsville Opera House.
Built in 1906 it was sad that it was the most acoustic building in all the land. In fact the gentleman who designed the building is the same one who built The Grand in Macon, Georgia. With the building in Hawkinsville the Hawkinsville opera house, so that they could hear the music or the play that he would give them $1,000. To this day no one has ever requested the $1,000

I loved the ornate architecture in the old building. It's small, so there are no bad seating. It was an enjoyable evening.
