This was my first time at the Hawthorne and it was super cool! What a neat little venue! We saw Witchz (his first ever sold out show, Congratulations!) and it was absolutely amazing. I thought the sound was great, atmosphere was great. My only complaint is that I wish the stage were somewhere just a tad higher. This venue is standing room only and when you are just over 5ft it’s hard to see things a lot of the time.

Super cool venue. Very intimate setting which is awesome for seeing your favorite band. Not usually my thing, but ear plugs wouldnt be awful here. The bar moves quickly as well but lounge was closed at my show

What a great little venue. I noticed that the the building was for sale and I hope that whoever buys it continues to throw events here. I enjoyed the space, but we were there in the winter months, so we didn't have issues with it being really warm in there. The bartenders were amazing and the food was good and I just enjoyed all the features of the venue. I will definitely be back!

Attended the Vision Video and Voltaire concert with Graveyard Gossip. Excellent show, but the venue needs some upgrades to make things better for show goers.

Air conditioning is there but not strong enough for 500 people on a 90 degree day. Creates condensation that drips from the vents. There is limited seating in the loft bar overlooking the crowd and the stage.

The sound guys make sure the volume never gets too high.

Security does pat downs and are very respectful. People in wheelchairs are taken first to get them inside, and we watched security help/push those patrons in. In our all ages show they separated the kids in the front from the everyone else.

Band merch is sold inside the event space, which crowds the standing area. Lines are not well defined. Merch is sold by the bands so you have a chance to meet the artists.

There are 3 bars going during a show. One outside the event space and 2 inside the event space. Drinks are reasonably priced though still spendy for well drinks.

Parking for the venue is going to be difficult. Inner street parking is available but in limited quantities. Suggest people park and take a bus to get to the venue. The bus stop is across the street at the bank and hawthorn itself is fairly walkable. Alternatively a Lyft or Uber might be the way to go.

Like most posts have said, it does get very hot in there. Because I read the posts I wore shorts and a tank top and I was fine. The water was a great offer from them and the concert was amazing!

Bathroom was clean , loved the built in water stand fountain
They had a non alcohol section in the GA but it was like sectioned off at the front
views were good from the whole floor, pretty small venue
