Este es un lugar perfecto para visitar después de un largo día del trabajo o de la vida. La decoración y ambiente te transportan a una tierra lejana en tiempos pasados de vikingos. Las personas que frecuentan este lugar, son generalmente mayores, lo que resulta en un ambiente tranquilo. La selección de cervezas es muy amplia y económica, al igual que el personal entero es muy chévere. Si tienes hambre, dentro del establecimiento esta ‘Bruce’s Pizza’ ambas tipos de pizza que ofrece estan riquísimas.

Si buscas un lugar tranquilo para relajarte te recomiendo este lugar.

If you're in Downtown Muncie and looking for a great spot to grab a drink and a bite, Urban Bar: The Heorot paired with Bruce’s Pizza is a winning combination. The Heorot itself has a medieval vibe, complete with rustic decor and an excellent selection of craft beers. The atmosphere is laid-back, perfect for unwinding with friends or enjoying a casual evening out.

But the real star of the show is Bruce’s Pizza. Their thin crust is truly exceptional—crisp yet light, with just the right balance of chewiness. Each bite bursts with flavor, thanks to fresh ingredients and a well-executed crust that holds up without being too heavy. Whether you’re a fan of classic toppings or more adventurous choices, there’s something for everyone.

If you appreciate craft beer and love a well-made pizza, The Heorot and Bruce’s Pizza are a must-visit. The combination of a cozy atmosphere and quality food makes it one of Downtown Muncie’s best spots for a casual night out. Highly recommended by me😊

This is one of those places I've been going to for years and years and yet have never reviewed. Visiting here with a buddy from out of town yesterday reminded me to review the place.

There is a huge selection of stable and rotating draft beers here, as well as numerous cans and bottles to suit any taste. Spirits were added in recent years, if that's your thing. Food options are a short list consisting primarily of medium-sized pizzas with half a dozen topping options. They are simple but tasty.

Service is always excellent here, provided by bartenders who want you to have a good experience. The atmosphere is tremendous including extremely tall ceilings, rich dark woods, a fireplace, steins, helmets, swords, dragons and more!

If you are an ale fan, this is the place. It is a cozy environment with a fireplace and plenty of seating. The bartenders are awesome and the pizza guy is equally awesome. The decor makes you feel like you are in a fantasy pub with a dragon on the wall. Highly recommend

Love this place!! It’s a lil dark for reading but their ambiance is festive and the beer menu is pretty extensive. The staff has always been friendly and sometimes there’s someone performing on the stage yayy

This is a typical pub experience. The bartender and pizza baker were both very friendly. The house pizza was nothing to brag about but sufficient.

My pal and I ended up here for a late dinner and a few drinks, and we were blown away by this place.

First off, Bruce's pizza was incredible, and an experience like nothing we'd ever had before. Initially we wanted to try the detroit style, but it was sold old (so arrive here earlier than 8:40 on a friday if you want that!), so we tried the thin-crust instead. While we waited for that to come out of the oven, we found a quiet table in the back and got some beers.

The bartenders were nice, and the atmophere of the bar was friendly and lively. I love that they leaned into the mythos and vibe of the mead hall after which they're named; I kept staring in awe at the large dragon sculpture along one wall. There was a good mix of young and old patrons, many of whom I got the feeling are regulars. The main room was a bit too loud, but the back room by the claw machines and bathrooms was quieter and more the pace we were wanting that night. We felt both seclulded but also not completely isolated from the bustle of the main dining room. The drink selection here is extensive, and I'm excited to come back some time and try a few more kinds.

Now for the pizza: Wow. Just wow. The crust was incredibly thin, almost like a cracker, and the flavors and seasoning really popped. You could taste such depth of flavor in every bite. We were both glad the detroit-style was out, because this was a pizza experience unlike any other! We plan to return for that detroit style soon, tho.

Great bar with knowledgeable bartenders that can craft a perfect drink or recommend the right beer. The pizza is is pretty good but sales out fast. If you are in Muncie I would highly recommend this place.
