Just watched the opening on The Great Race and it was amazing! Very small theatre with open seating. The cast was amazing. We were laughing hysterically the whole time. Great show!

Great venue for local theater events. Enjoyed by Keili and adults alike. Parking is a bit sketchy so drop off recommended.

Shows are targeted for children, but I still enjoy the shows at the young age of over 40.

Great and small opportunities for young teens. It's just tight parking overall, nice small setup for small plays.

Attended the school performance of "The Ballad of Mu Lan" today. Very awesome performance by a truly versatile cast of (4) plus their music director. A funny, heartwarming story about the value of each individual and the importance of working together for a common goal. New music features make this show worth the revisit, enhanced by talented actors with strong range from drama through comedy. In addition to range, the actors engage in fairly physical choreography while singing and delivering lines. Soundtrack and sound effects add to the emphasis, creating a wonderful menagerie of entertainment.

The post show, the cast assembles on-stage to deliver one final message sponsored by the Hawaii State Department of Health. The "dao of NOW" is a catchy diddy crafted to help young students remember the fundamentals of disaster preparedness.

Total show running time: 60 minutes. Both school and public performances available. The Tenney Theatre is quaint, well-maintained theatre for small to medium sized audiences. Free parking on the ground during public performances. Street parking close by during school performances. Parking meters are $1.50 per hour.

Mahalo to the Honolulu Theatre for Youth for another enjoyable and fun-filled performance!

The tween scene play was fabulous. The kids did everything from writing, acting working so hard during the month of June. They had great teachers and accomplished alot in one month! Great experience for all!
