Absolutely excellent experience. Bobbi was an amazing tour guide. Horses were in great shape and easy to ride. Wonderful facility and a tour through Saguaro East made for beautiful scenery. Bobbi explained some of the local flora and fauna as the rise progressed. We both had a wonderful time on the ride. Would recommend to anyone looking to ride in the Tucson area.

My sister and I went for a ride this morning with Kaylee and Christine to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. It was FABULOUS!!!! They were patient and so helpful with us. I highly recommend Houston's! ?

Houston's was by far the best trail riding experience my wife and I have ever been a part of. Bobbi, the owner was awesome!!! She was very nice, informative, thorough and was an all around nice lady to be around. There were two employees that went out with my wife and I and they were Lori and Christine. Sorry ladies if I spelled your names wrong. They were absolutely amazing! They were full of knowledge about Houston's and about everything to do with the local desert.

If my wife and I find ourselves in Tucson again, there is a 100% chance we will be booking a ride with Houston's. We did the sunset private ride, so it was a little more personable but I would highly recommend them even if you can't do the private ride. Everything was great about them!!

I had an absolute blast! I was a bit nervous at first and I was traveling solo. They were so kind and took great care of me. After about 10 minutes I wasn't nervous!! My horse was Gary and he was a great riding companion and such a good boy-and beautiful of course. All the horses were in impeccable condition and the scenery was breathtaking. Our guide Pauline was wonderful and explained some wonderful facts about what we were seeing as well as the whole staff being patient, kind, and caring with me. The owner is fantastic! She is such a nice person to talk to, very helpful and most important, very caring. I wish I would've gotten better photos but it was hard to stay steady and hold on at the same time. I can't wait to come again on my next visit to Tucson!

What can I say? Our family reunion event (15 people) was a perfect experience. People were in awe of the ride in the desert guided by HHR staff. It made a deep, unifying experience for all the diverse family members who made the ride. The pace was an easy walk, no reason to be reluctant to ride these horses, even if you lack any horseback riding experience. Out behind the compound, I even got a photo of a roadrunner passing by.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Such a cool family and ranch. They take excellent care of their horses, stable, and property. A very scenic and fun ride as well. The private ride was excellent for my wife and I. Would recommend to anyone!

Our fun group of 7 had a blast on the morning walking trail ride with everyone at Houston's. Our 2 hour ride started through the wash and rode through the Saguaro National Park before heading back to Tucson for a hearty lunch. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and our horses were easy trail partners - even when a couple liked to try to push our buttons.

And of course, before we headed back to Tucson, my own horse Neil had earned himself a smooch 😉

Prices are very reasonable for the time spent and our guides and horses deserved every bit and more! Also if you live in the area, sounds like they're always looking for volunteers. Happy trails~
