I went in last week to adopt a cat and was greeted immediately by the lady up front. She helped guide me through the process of adopting a cat and let me go check the cats they had available before I started the paper work to get approved for the adoption. I saw so many wonderful cats there and one caught my eye immediately. His name is Psalm. I kept going back to him several times, he would reach out to me wanting me to pet him and show him some attention. Even when I would try to pet the other Cats above his cage he would paw at my hand. The staff was very helpful in helping out a cat. I met Gleeson and he was a cute and fluffy kitty. But I think I knew I wanted Psalm from the beginning so I took him home with me. And he loves his new home and he makes me very happy. My cat Mr. Billy wasn't so pleased at first, but over time they started to get along and been bumping each other's noses. It's so cute! Soon they will become great friends to each other!

First time visiting to donate items and check out the pets. Facility was much smaller than I was anticipating and at capacity.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Dogs and cats are no longer allowed to be socialized unless you have an approved adoption application or are a volunteer, fyi.

Many beautiful and friendly cats for adoption for less than $100. Many cats seemed to be two and under.

Dog area was overwhelming being narrow cinder block hallways and extremely echoey. My kids, who generally have no issue, could not handle the barking and jumping, esp with the bigger dogs, because of the close proximity and echoes. The noise was to be expected, though. Dog areas are incredibly loud.

They had a special room with mini hamsters. One had even given birth that morning and the staff didn't know until my kids went in to look at them. The hamsters were the only pets that were allowed to be handled so they could be adoptable.

I would definitely go back to adopt from here or consider volunteering.

Four stars only because of the size of the facility and being unable to handle animals due to being short staffed.

Beautiful animals, super clean adoption areas, and play rooms. You can tell the employees enjoy what they do, and really work with the animals to try and get them more socialized. Thank you for all you do for Warren county's furr babies.

To me this is not a no kill shelter. I’m devastated and heartbroken, recently came across a sick kitten in need of help and I went to the 24 hour vet and was turned away, went to Banfield and they where no help without money so I heard this place would actually help the kitten and after I stayed up and made sure this kitten didn’t die and was feeding it round the clock every 2 hours trimmed his butt hair so he could poo spent 2 hours drying him and praying for them to open so they could save him I found out that the disgusting “humane” society took one look at him and said yea he’s not worth it he’s not gonna live more then another day and killed him. Sorry put him down that’s the term they want me to use right? On top of that they had the audacity to try and call me and act like I DID this to the kitten. Like they aren’t the ones who literally ended his life? I would have rather driven this kitten hours away to a no kill let’s try and save the kitten HAD I KNOWN. To me, that kitten deserved another chance and I will never forgive myself for thinking this place would save him. I wish I would known they take them don’t give them back and just kill them. don’t ever bring your animal here if your trying to save it. I’m no vet and neither are the people reading this but we have more of a heart then anyone in this building. Drive the farther drive to a place that won’t do this.

We had a great experience getting our fur baby at the Humane Society of Warren County!

They have an incredible staff who obviously care about the animals and who will work with you to find a perfect match. Our experience was seamless and the pre work (shots, microchip, etc.) they did was awesome and well worth the adoption fee. Plus their facility is great.

Great, friendly, knowledgeable, loving, efficient, staff! I will be back to volunteer once our "Dom" gets use to being in his "Forever Home". Great information to take home with us and we are all very happy. " Dom" is keeping us on our toes for sure and we needed him👍😍💯

Good for all means, Don't have anything against then or would I turn anyone away from the business, We all have good & bad day's, And all businesses have at least 1 rotten egg
Of the dozen and that 1 egg can spoil
It all and the whole place of its business, But that's up to the overchiever to take care of them, If!
He or she wants to have the best business and quality for the business And customers to keep coming back,
Then they will do what they have to
And be a little more stricter and punish the employee's when they
Say or do wrong, its hard work, And
I'm not knocking on anyone, Stress
And anger can ruin alot, including
