This place is classic and has been apart of Kankakee for a very long time The workers are awesome Of course you have to either take your food or eat outside but it is worth it. The food is really good. A lot of people eat here because it may be a small place and sometimes there's a wait in line but the food is awesome. I appreciate the service I appreciate the kindness and I believe that you can get a Green River here which is a drink that is like none other. I usually order the chicken tenders with fries which is usually about nine bucks.

I've only eaten here 1 time. My friend ordered Chili Cheese Fries. After she took a couple of bites she noticed the fries on the bottom were hard & not edible. I complained & they said they would make a fresh order. Well that was not the case they left the hard fries on the bottom and again only replaced the ones on the top of the order. Did they honestly think that we were not going to know that they didn't make us a fresh order? I may or may not be returning...

Well I was misinformed by a Ryan Clayton bc there are no fried green tomatoes here but all the food is beyond good definitely worth the trip in my opinion. This place ALWAYS reminds me of my grandmothers and always will. I will be posting photos as soon as the deliciousness is all done.

I wish we could give higher then 5 stars.
This is the best hotdog in the world. It truly doesn't get any better then this. The magic is in the sauce they put on the dogs here. I wish they served them in Arizona. I sure do miss them. It's a must stop for when we visit family back home. Great service with unbelievable delicious hotdogs that are very inexpensive!

This place is The #1 best chili/sauce dog in this state. They have a plethora of choices for food, it's not just a hotdog shop that's for sure, I'm especially partial to the corn dog nuggets but ALWAYS at least 2 chili/Saucedogs every single time I go. If you've never been here before and your in the Kankakee/Bradley/Bourbonnais area, stop by this place and get yourself a Saucedog you'll never have better!!

I usually have a great experience here but not today. My everything dog was good but my 3 chili cheese dogs were not. Something was off because they tasted awful. I’m not sure which but one of the ingredients tasted bad. Really bad. I’ve never not finished a dog from there but I could only handle a bite of each. Like a weird chemical taste. I’ll give it another go at some point but was definitely a disappointing diet cheat meal.

Wrong hotdog foe what they are serving chili is sweet and ok but different should be savory. Fries were ok they use a cheap kind of cheese for the chili cheese dog and fry it's not the cheese wiz ur hoping for. 4 out of 10. The mini corn dogs and chicken tenders were decent. 33 dollars for 3 hotdogs corn dogs cheese fries chicken tender and 3 drinks. Not bad but not good for the product they are putting out.
