Great entertainment, clean venue with lots of open space to not feel cramped, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Band was Nicotine Dolls, who also have songs that make you feel things and the lead is wonderful at engaging the crowd.

First time visit to this venue. Initially I was a little apprehensive about the general admission only tickets. Reading other reviews about the slanted theater floor, minus the seats, I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. It truly is a great concert experience. You're not packed in like you might expect, and you have plenty of space to enjoy the show, even upfront near the stage. The sound and acoustics were excellent, and just a great intimate experience with the band. There's no car traffic near the theater, and that too adds to a more relaxed vibe and atmosphere. There's food and beverages close by to enjoy before the show, and a nice variety of beers once inside. The theater staff were friendly, and there's no drama entering like at some venues. If you truly need to sit for the show, there are just a few tables available, so reserve them early. Will definitely keep the upcoming schedule for The Jefferson on my radar. Highly recommend this historic venue!

Went for a concert yesterday, beautiful architecture and sound quality. It was a great experience, with a refreshing closeness to the bands, and I hope to see future concerts there. If your band is going to be there, you won't be disappointed.

The main floor slopes down from the stairs to reach it toward the stage, allowing for anyone to be able to clearly see the stage. It wasn't open during my concert visit, but there is at least one balcony and maybe even a higher balcony as well. From the lobby on the main level was a bar to the right, and the bands had tables to the left for selling merchandise. This level had tables for disabled to sit at and enjoy concert experience, with stairs that went down to the main floor.

Bathrooms in lobby, with sign saying additional available. For male restroom at least there is one seat and one urinal, the seat is not segregated if you are the shy kind.

Parking was available via city lots and garages nearby, and plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy in the historic mall area. This includes an attached grill, although we didn't check it out during this visit.

The Jefferson theater is a great venue- smaller than most, and the venue offers a sloped floor giving most of the audience a good view of the performance.
Expect to pay 8-10$ a beer, and they only have the one bar so time your breaks right!
The Elovaters played here last night and the sound was incredible from the balcony.
If you see one of your favorite acts come through here, highly recommend to get a ticket!

I've been here so many times for awesome acts. Just last month saw The Japanese house. It was sold out, and a little crowded on the main floor so we went upstairs to the balcony where it was cooler temperature wise and you had a seat, with a great view. We were two rows away from the back, and still had a great view. For the Hannibal Burress pic, it was a seated show and we were 7 rows away from the front. There are two bathrooms btw and two bars. One on the main floor when you walk in, and there is a downstairs with a bar (less busy) and a larger bathroom.

Maps doesn't tell you it's not "on the street" exactly. It's on the closed off section of Main St., so park and walk. Great bars. The most comfortable folding chairs ever!
