Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a performance of "The Scarlet Pimpernel" on a date night. Although we were unsure what to expect, we were both thoroughly impressed. The performance was truly exceptional. If you are seeking a unique experience, I highly recommend checking this out. Kudos to the cast!

This was my second experience with Jewel Box in its new venue. I was invited by friends to attend this and a previous show. Both were outstanding 'the Mousetrap', and this recent performance on 'Charley's Aunt'. The casting and acting was spot on, excellent sets and production. I hope to be able at to attend another production soon.

Getting there was a bit confusing; the theatre is hidden way back from the main building, the road is half-flooded, half-pitted, and the sign is very small. But the show was GREAT. For a little community theatre, the quality of the show (A Brief Encounter) and set was amazing. They had real talent in every role and it was a good time all around. The theater itself is all and cozy, but pretty comfortable. At $25 a show it's well worth it.

We have been here many times and never disappointed. Love the shows and the Theater is in the round so there is not a bad seat in the house.

UPDATE: The quality of the shows has gone down quite a bit this season. Driving Ms Daisy and Heaven Can Wait this year were amazing!! The acting was as professional as can ever be expected. Leading Ladies was funny and done well also. However, Bus Stop was horrible. The man that played the drunk... did a fantastic job. The rest of the cast was ... well, boring. (I am so sorry!). The story line lacked a LOT. In face, since this is a church theater we were quite shocked at the story line. Several left after the second intermission.

The past 3 plays have not been up to par at all. Very disappointed after attending all these years. One more play this season... and we already gave our tickets away for it. May have to rethink buying season tickets next season if it doesn't improve. So disappointing as this was our groups FAVORITE place to go.

Tonight was my first visit to the Jewel Box and it was delightful! We saw Arsenic and Old Lace one of my favorites! The cast was marvelous and the theater is splendid! I’ll be turning in October to see A Raisin In the Sun.

Like always a great theater, great actors friendly people very nice experience, seating is fantastic.
The plays are always wonderful like always!
