Dr. Pielstick and assistant Maddie made this an amazing experience. Both kind and patient with an older horse . We have always had good experiences with our smaller animals (cats/dogs) at the clinic but today reaffirms that when you want good people to take care of your animals this is the place.

I like to support local businesses, and most of the time won’t have anything bad to say about any of them but these people are crooks. It’s sad to say, they are extremely shady about pricing, they’ll tell you it’s a certain amount then add extra things on once you come to get your pet. When my dog was dying of a cancerous tumor that ruptured in her abdomen, the vet told me she was pretty sure she knew what was wrong that she’d start with an ultrasound and if she found the issue there that there was no reason to seek farther treatment or fo farther test, once I got the bill, I was billed for all kinds of stuff including an X-ray which she specifically told me she wasn’t going to give her. A simple nuter almost killed my cat, they didn’t sow him up barely at all and there was tissue bulging out of his incision which led to infection, he got a terrible cough and was pouring mucus out of his nose and eyes. I happen to fix him myself, and the little young blonde receptionist at the front is the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. People go in there and pay a ton of money just to get treated like complete garbage from the little brat up front.

They do not disclose pricing beforehand, they will do procedures or give vaccines and when you come to pick up your pet, tell you an inflated amount. If you are unable to pay in full, THEY HOLD YOUR PET HOSTAGE UNTIL PAYMENT IN FULL IS RECEIVED! THE RANSOM IS $25 PER DAY on top of whatever your original bill was. My "few hundred dollars" procedure was $1200 when I picked my dog. My husband watched a senior citizen picking up her cat from a nail clip appointment who was charged $100!!! "Oh, she needed vaccines updated" was their excuse. That's why they don't let you go back with your pet, so you have no idea what they're doing 😤🤬 Drive elsewhere for better service!!!

This veterinary clinic is amazing. The care that the vet staff gives is incredible. Everyone is so nice, and they truly love each pet that comes in. They have so many goodies too and anything I could ever need for my puppy. There is never a wait when I come to my appointments, they are efficient and personal. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

The only place to get large animal and small pet care at an exorbitant rate that isn't disclosed until the care is complete!
Dont forget they won't release your animal until payment is made in full... after telling you $300.00 and the bill comes to $1200!!
A 14 year old dog with a terminal illness....how bout you recommend euthanasia instead of major surgery? Cuz they don't make enough with that for the doctor to have another purebred horse in her stable.... They really care about making that money. Only game in town, so of course they can charge whatever they want. 4x the average anywhere else. Avoid if at all possible. Shameful. Watched them ambush a senior citizen with an inflated bill..thought she was gonna cry. Probably won't be able to eat or buy medicine, but couldn't leave her cat behind. SHAMEFUL AND UNETHICAL. They will point to a sign that is nowhere near where you pay and won't verbal it to you, so be warned.

Not my at home vet however while traveling through town would definitely use this clinic again. Excellent service and very nice. A Urine culture was done for my puppy, it took 5 days to get the results, after the results the office called in a rx in Hoodriver for me to treat my dog. Again, thank you for my unscheduled visit and looking out for the best treatment for Eva..

Friendly staff.. But I was actually the one who diagnosed my dog with allergies I did some research and found out that my dogs breed has a lot of allergies when I took him in I told them what I had found out the guy acted like I was crazy and said they would have to do a bunch of different tests to see what was going on I said ok then why don't you start with allergies.. Fast forward a couple months we're back at the vet and they finally did a scrape and will you look at that it's allergies! But like I said the staff is really friendly 😂

Dr. Colleen is the best; such a kind & loving vet whom I feel treats your pets as if they're her own! I've seen Dr Mike as well, but usually when I already know what I need for my dog (certain medication or an abcess drained). Anne the receptionist is really amazing as well.
