A very nice, intimate theater. Any seat is a good one. Such a great, educational exhibit about Katharine Hepburn on the first floor too. Has an elevator and spacious walkways, so I’d think it’s pretty accommodating of disabled folks and people with mobility issues, which is wonderful. After seeing Katie Lynne Sharbough and The Brazen Youth last month, I’m looking forward to attending another show some time soon.

Location is great! Plenty of shops & places to eat within walking distance on such a cute Main ST! The Kate is absolutely gorgeous, and the perfect size for an intimate venue.

Had a great time here seeing Awaken, a Yes Tribute band. Beautiful venue with a cool little museum. Clean, comfortable with excellent sound/lighting. Took the websites recommendation and hit up the Penny Lane pub first for dinner, which was also quite nice!

The Kate is a very beautiful theater with ample parking both on Main Street and in the parking lot to the rear of the theater. It also includes a quaint museum honoring the theaters namesake Katherine Hepburn. The theater seating comfortably accommodates for very large patrons such as myself. They do have a limited bar that sells alcohol and drinks that you can take into the theater. Even the farthest seats towards the back of the theater have an incredible view of the intimate stage area. If you have never seen a show at the Kate it is time!°

Such a beautiful place. I absolutely adored the outdoor landscape and the beauty of this building. I did find it odd there were so many staff but we were not directed or addressed. We had to fen for ourselves as far as where things were like the bathroom. I don't know why they don't have someone greeting you and letting you know you're way around. Even when we were walking aimlessly and doe-eyed noone asked if we needed help. Most importantly before the show we were not informed of any entrance restrictions. I left during show to use restroom a gentleman saw me leave and another woman was staring at a poster. When I returned I was immediately barked at "you can't go in there" I confused said "I paid I was in there already" she said "noone told you you have to use a different entrance" the gentleman behind her said he saw me walk out. She must have realized it was she that should have informed me rather than get excited over me walking in the main door as it "lights up the whole room"? So when we were leaving it was funny they had all these doors with people and no one said we could exit at any, but you could. The bar was good, the drinks were priced good as they were very strong. 25$ There's a little museum and lots of merchandise there it would greatly benefit to have some staff that would provide information. I mean it's the Kate.

Saw Leo Kotke and loved every minute of it. But since this is about the theater, I will say it's great. Very small, not a bad seat in the place. Staff there is very friendly. Tickets are affordable. They don't rip you off with outrageous fees. Have been there in the past and no doubt will be there again.

"Lost Lodge" at The Kate running now is fantastic. The writing is superb, the acting is superb, the set is superb, and the audience laughed with gusto and cried empathetic tears. The venue is so intimate and friendly. Adult beverages were amply served and icy cold. Just a superb evening. There are matinees too. Just book seats and GO!
