It's a dive, and I mean it's really a dive. Mismatched beer cans in the fridge, mannequin heads on the taps, and cheesy printed posters. But this place is also for everyone. Safe for LGBTQ, not safe for Nazis. Also Kat is a delight, the Reuben is spectacular, and the beer lines are hella clean.

I've had back-to-back upper respiratory infections and now have had a clogged ear for an entire week. And why am I feeling sorry for myself the most over? All the fun I'm missing at Katt's! Headbanger's Ball! Wrestling night! A touring band from Europe! A Big Lebowski party!

I discovered this bar last year thanks to some friends I was in a play with at our amazing Lincoln Theatre down town. Since then I've been going just about every Saturday and often more than once a week if I can.

Katt's is SUCH a fun and welcoming place!. I'm a single female but I never feel unsafe going there alone. Everyone is just so upbeat and friendly - staff and bar patrons. Karaoke is nearly every night and so much fun since we can stand right out on the dance floor with a cordless mic.

Rob the karaoke host/DJ/sound tech is SO friendly and fun and really gets the crowd going. I especially love how whenever it's someone's birthday he singles them out with a special rocking birthday song that we all start screaming along to. Katt, the owner, is always friendly. She's also an AMAZING cook! Love their tacos, burgers and don't miss if she has baked goods! She also does a lot for the community gathering bottled water, clothing, toiletries for the homeless. Her bar crew are super friendly and attentive as well. They also often have great drink specials and some REALLY tasty cocktails!

I especially love all the free live music and comedy shows there and I did my first stand-up comedy at Katt's recently. So fun!!!! Even though I was nervous and referred to notes I'd typed up to bring up there with me it didn't matter. I was treated with the same attention and respect as the pros! Definitely will do it again!

The theme parties are amazing. Halloween was incredible and for Christmas Katt's had a PAJAMA PARTY! We were all in our fuzzy jammies singing karaoke - sooooo fun! New Years was super fun as well.

So if you want an amazingly fun place where EVERYONE is welcome - gay, straight, liberal, conservative, country mouse, city mouse WHATever - come to Katt's! We'd love to meet you!!!

Always a blast at Katt's singing karaoke. She's open Wednesday thru Sunday and we try to come down atleast once a week. There's a small group of regulars evertime but the general crowd varies from night to night, it's crazy how one night you could have a local hiking group be the majority of the patrons, then come the next night and its a group from Bellingham or Everett or even a local metal/rock band filming a music video or two. No matter the crowd though, everybody is always friendly and the atmosphere is energetic and fun. If you haven't checked her out yet,, you're definitely missing out.

Best most friendly and accommodating people on earth. Never had so much fun before. Service is spectacular. I would recommend it to anyone. If you do t go experience it for yourself you're just passing up one of those life experiences you always regret.

Last night was such a great time. We wanted to throw a birthday party for my wife, Katt went above and beyond to decorate the bar and even made us a delicious cake! If you like a fun and welcoming environment with no judgement and lots of laughs and smiles then this is the place for you! Karaoke was great with lots of different styles of music and great singers. Katt is so kind and runs a very fun establishment! Definitely excited to have more friends and families birthdays at Katts. Cant say enough great things about this local small business owner!

After seeing all the reviews and hearing the rave recommendations from my friends, I decided I'd give this place a try and come down to see my friends bands play. I'm usually a fan of dives and the online menu/social media of this establishment was showing some burgers/sandwiches and deserts which looked really good and that I was excited to try. Well you can imagine my disappointment when the face-tatted bartender curtly informed me that they had no burgers or sandwiches, and that fryer food and gyros were the only food options available. I had already worked up an appetite and come all this way from Whidbey to get something to eat and drink, so I settled for the $16 gyro and a beer. While the beer was decently priced, and the gyro was pretty okay, I felt it was not worth the $20 I paid for everything after tipping(with unfriendly service, to boot). To add insult to injury, the establishment thought it would be funny to put up cheeky signage everywhere insulting their own customer base for various assumed minor transgressions against the establishment. Maybe I just came in on a bad day, but being made to feel like my presence is an inconvenience by a place that I'm paying for food and service just left a bad taste in my mouth. After a mildly disappointing experience such as this, I'd usualy give an establishment the benefit of the doubt and a second chance, but this time I felt especially cheated/suckered out of 20 hard earned dollars, an hour of my time, and gas money that I will never get back. I don't think I'll be returning.
