We live next to the center and enjoy visiting the horses. They seem very content. There is always someone cleaning the stalls, feeding the horses, or riding.

This place is a hazard to both people and horses. The “trainer” (very loose term used here) is not educated and is a liability. Horses are being worked that are injured, horses are getting out and running around on the property loose on a consistent basis. Horses are kept in unsanitary conditions, feed is not consistent (ran out of grass for horses). The weird cult following here will never allow for things to improve or change. Its a group of uneducated people congregating together. If you have any sort of quality horse, do not waste your time at this place!

My daughter took horseback riding camp here last summer and now takes private lessons. The facility is so clean and well kept. Taking lessons indoors is amazing. My only wish is that they took online payment vs. cash or check only. Everyone is so nice and friendly. We did have to wait a while to get off of the waiting list for lessons, but it is half the cost of other schools in the area so it was well worth the wait.

I loved volunteering here, and helping with riding lessons! Everyone is so nice. And definitely recommend to try to board there.

There is a hole in the barn, hall damaged roof, 2 flickering lights in the indoor, exposed pipes and sharp objects and pieces of fence in the pasture and they are raising board - for the new prices I could go to a hunter barn. I stay for the unlimited hay - very large pasture - barn friends and excess of trails.

Had a bday party with 10 special needs elementary school kids, and I cannot say enough how amazing the Instructors were. Parents and kids were still raving at school days later. Hands down the best birthday yet for my kid!

Great equestrian center! Daughter came here for horse camp this summer and had a fantastic time. The place is well run, the animals are healthy, and the staff is great with children. Prices are reasonable for the group classes.

My Mom's horse was boarded here for a year, while she was out -of-state. It's a beautiful facility, and she trusted that her horse would be safe and well fed.

Her horse was terribly neglected, to the point that some of the people who were at the barn a lot (riding their own horses) were threatening to call animal control. The horse had lost at least 100 pounds, and he was covered with bite marks. We didn't recognize him when we first visited!
My Mom is too upset to even write this review.

We will NEVER again board any horse or pony at the Ken Caryl Equestrian Center. Evidently, the manager cares nothing about horses.
