My husband and I had our wedding at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall this past June. We couldn't have dreamed of a better venue for us! From the beautiful craftsmanship, gorgeous lawn, stylish tableware, and beyond!

The bar, the kitchen, the music supply, the space! The list goes on and on, we could not be more pleased with our experience with the events team here! Especially Monique - who is patient with nervous couples and an expert event planner.

An incredible space to host your wedding! You won't be disappointed with the variety of unique scenes for wedding photos! The building is impressive inside and out with the hall's dark wood ceiling boldly on display taking you back to a bygone time. The building's prairie style architecture has been lovingly cared for over the century making this a gem in the Northern Suburbs.

Nice building. Super well kept prairie style public space (I'm guessing). Went for a function with a relative. Pretty building, wee cafe in it. No good idea what it's used for but it's a nice place to sit down and read.

We decided to do our fundraiser for our Guatemalan NGO at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! Michelle is an absolute delight to work with and makes the process easy and stress-free. Michelle is a pro and provides great insight and recommendations to make your event successful. The venue is intimate and gorgeous. Our event was in the evening and the lighting was great. We are already excited to plan our next event here as many of our guests have already asked and suggested we do it at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall again!

Hosted a large birthday party of over 100 people (mostly children) for my daughter's 4th birthday. Michelle was very accommodating and had great communication throughout the process of planning and execution. Her floor plan worked out perfectly with all of the various types of entertainment and food. We used the stage, outdoor area, and their bar package. It was the perfect space for our event! Would highly recommend!

We would recommend Kenilworth Assembly Hall to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue. Michelle was an absolute pleasure to work with - even from the first email responding to our inquiry she had tons of information for us to look over. She is very organized and full of ideas which definitely helps make the planning process easier!

For potential wedding pictures - the surrounding area is nothing short of beautiful. There is a lovely fountain out front and a park with benches that are perfect for pictures. There is also the Kenilworth Metra Station for any guests wanting to come by train and has a wonderful sign for more pictures. Kenilworth beach is only about a 10 minute walk as well.

For the venue - we had around 100 guests and were still able to have plenty of space for a cocktail area with high tops and a dance floor. We selected the Dignified liquor package and everyone was pleased with the selection. In addition, Michelle knew the person that we were working with at the catering company by name which shows how vested she is in providing a wonderful experience. She coordinated with the caterer and everything was seamless so that we had nothing to do on the day of the reception and we could just take everything in and enjoy!

Two weeks ago, our daughter and now husband had a gorgeous wedding at the Kenilworth Assembly Hall. The venue was classy and all around beautiful. Michelle was great to work with. She was available and answered my many questions patiently. The location was wonderful and easy for guests. I highly recommend it.

Sadly, due to the pandemic, my fiancé and I were not able to follow through with our wedding here (we made it through almost the whole wedding planning process with them though). I wanted to write this review anyway because Michelle and all the other staff at the Assembly Hall were the most kind-hearted, generous, easy to work with people ever! The building is so beautiful and so full of history and Michelle (the manager of the space) is so attentive to what you need, your budget, your vision and making your day so special! I am really heartbroken that we were not able to have our final ceremony here, but would 100% recommend this space to any future bride/groom looking for a little piece of paradise and wedding planning bliss. 🙂
