Being from detroit, it was the worst "Detroit styled pizza" I've ever had. It's insulting to call it a detroit styled pizza. Jet's is better. The pizza was TINY. They messed up the toppings and put green peppers and onions on several slices on the other half of the pizza. There is no sauce on the bread. It is splashed on top of the pizza. So it barely had sauce. It's an overpriced cheese bread. I wish business owners in jackson would try coneys and detroit styled pizza in the place that actually made it famous before adding it to the menu. Cuz i swear this food isn't even comparable to the worst spots in detroit. The cheese was flavorless. It's overpriced for what i got. 3 stars because they have excellent customer service.

I actually looked into it... and this is what culinary schools, that arent even based in Detroit are teaching. They googled detroit styled pizza and assumed there was only sauce on top. There are recipes from certified schools making it this way. No restaurants in or around detroit do this. Pictured is actual detroit styled pizza, what schools are teaching, and what i got.

Great pizza! Plan on a long wait for pickup orders. This place is always busy. The great food at reasonable prices is the reason why it is so busy.

I've heard such good things, but I ordered for the first time tonight - one 14" Chino and one bacon ranch bread. This was the worst pizza that I have ever had in my life. I have had pizza visiting New York, living in Minneapolis, Chicago, and all the way to Seattle. This pizza was burnt and vile. I am so disappointed because I thought my new home of Jackson would have something of class and distinction. So bad, burnt, poor quality ingredients, and no attention to detail. My wife and I ate one slice each. She picked everything off, and would only eat the dough. I was too hungry to notice (we were coming from a late ballet at the Potter Center), so I tried another slice. Once I looked at it, I found that she was correct. Only the dough was edible. So sad.

Visited this location several times in the last year. On a recent visit the chef salad and applewood artisan sandwich were fantastic. Also really enjoyed the kettle chips. All varieties of pizza are very good, my favorite is classic crust. Wings exceeded expectations, tender with good size and flavor. Good beer selection, reasonable prices. We had excellent service from Hannah. Most interactions with staff have been excellent.

They get busy at peak times, plan accordingly and be patient. Plenty of parking and good location.

Nicely decorated restaurant. The booths have LED screens that display a roaring fireplace (probably changed in summer). Be prepared as this place is BUSY, no matter when you come in. I was lucky and arrived 30 minutes after they opened on a Wednesday at 1130. I was seated, waited on and served my Chicago stuffed pizza within 25 minutes. It did take some time to get my check and take home box. I have been here twice as it's an hour plus from home. I really recommend it if you love an excellent pizza like no other.

Made reservations on line. When I got there I was seated right away. Server asked if I wanted to order something to drink or wait for rest of party. She never rushed us and was very pleasant. Food was excellent. I highly recommend, especially if you like pizza like dishes.
