We live here locally in Steamboat and it meant the world to us to be able to get married in a place we love so much. Everything about this venue is amazing! We had the best experience and all our guests had THE BEST time. They truly put the bride and groom first while also providing an amazing experience for their guests. The wedding day was stress free, as the staff are professionals and made the day seem seamless. My wedding coordinator Kylie was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. She was calm, cool and collected the entire time. The venue is beautiful, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident about your big day! I would recommend La Joy Dulce to anyone. A big shoutout to Kathie and Wayne as well, who let us use their 1950s Ford tractor as part of our ceremony and enter our rehearsal on our Harley motorcycle! They were very supportive and accommodating to all our ideas and even were both there to help document the day and take some amazing photos and videos we will cherish forever.

We had the fall wedding of our dreams at La Joya Dulce. We knew the first time that we visited the ranch that we’d be getting married here. We had the privilege of working with Croix as our wedding planner. She was so kind, organized, and was incredibly accommodating to our busy schedules. She provided support every step of the way. Our big day couldn’t have gone better! Kathie, Croix, and the entire La Joya team work so well together and ensure that everything goes perfectly. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Kathie and Kylie were attentive to our needs, had great vendor recommendations and helped us pull off the wedding of our dreams in Steamboat! Our guests were SO impressed by the stunning views and the other perks--Smores cart, vintage car, vintage tractor, yard games, etc. It was truly an amazing day I will treasure forever!

There are no words to express how incredible our experience was having our dream wedding at La Joya Dulce. This was the first venue we ever toured and we immediately fell in love with it and knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Not only were we in love with the scenery and all the incredible property we also loved Kathie and everyone who works there. They truly treated us as family and we are so thankful for everyone at La Joya Dulce.

The planning process was amazing and stress free. Kathie provided incredible recommendations for vendors that met all our hopes and needs. I loved planning our wedding at La Joya.

The best part was our wedding weekend, this truly was a dream come true. The entire staff was so kind and helpful setting up and made everything run so smoothly, including the rehearsal dinner. The day of the wedding was a dream come true. We got ready in the most beautiful space and had a blast. When it was time to make our way down to the alter the staff was so supportive and kind, all while making us feel like their own family. Our guests could not stop raving about La Joya. We enjoyed a gorgeous ceremony outside, with cocktail hour up at the barn and a reception at the pavilion. It was absolutely perfect! Everyone would tell us as we were planning that something will not go as planned, but at La Joya that is not the case. Every detail was immaculate and we had the time of our life. We never wanted the night to end and neither did the guests. We truly believe this is the most spectacular venue in all of Colorado and our guests agree.

La Joya Dulce is unlike any other venue in all the best ways and we are forever grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day a true fairytale!

We booked La Joya Dulce without visiting it first and it paid off as it could not have been a more perfect setting for our wedding. My husband and I got married there a few months ago and we are still hearing from guests how much fun they had and how beautiful the view was. Kathie, Loretta and the rest of the team were all incredible from their attention to detail, knowledge and professionalism. They provided us with many different options to customize the venue/schedule/atmosphere to fit our style and incorporated our own personal touches as well. We are beyond grateful to be one of the few lucky couples to get married there!

When my daughter and her fiancé first visited the ranch, they called soon after and said this was the place they wanted for their wedding. Seeing was believing. The setting is breathtaking and the staff, including the owners made sure everything was perfect. The wedding was Sept 30 2023, which turned out to be a gorgeous weather day, but there were good contingency had they been needed. I can say with sincerity, everyone had a fantastic time. I can’t thank everyone enough for making this a perfect day full of wonderful memories.

We were so honored to be invited guests at an amazing wedding this past weekend on September 3rd 2023 at Lajoya Dulce Ranch. We had never been to Steamboat Springs so we called Lajoya Dulce for suggestions for lodging and area activities. We spoke with Kathie the owner and boy did she come through for us. She actually emailed us an amazing itinerary! We felt like she knew exactly who we were and what we would like. From our lodging that had us sleep to the sounds of the river rapids from our screen door, the incredible Saturday farmers market, and relaxing in the hot springs prior to the wedding, we felt like this was our wedding week!

The drive up to Lajoya Dulce was so beautiful and comfortable in the shuttle. The Colorado experience started right at the ranch gate when a women rode up on a horse to greet us just like in a movie! Little did we know it was the owner Kathie!

Mandy and the staff greeted us, showed us where the restrooms were and brought us into the barn for cocktails and apps. (The app with the crab in the shot glass was amazing). The barn was spotless. This is a real working ranch so I was expecting the usual smells and there were none, and the cork pavers on the ground were very soft to walk on.

The restrooms were easily accessible from anywhere on the property. Very clean (and the music inside them was a nice touch)

The ceremony was held outside with the most amazing views of the mountains and countryside. They got married on horses complete with a real double rainbow. It really was just like out of a movie! Every inch of Lajoya Dulce is made for pictures!

The bar was so cute. It was inside a vintage trailer. Drinks were all great (and strong)! The old fashioned was my favorite made with real good bourbon and real maraschino cherries. The bartenders were so friendly and new alot about drinks.( If your lucky, you can ask to find Wayne and have a great coversation about bourbon).

The reception was held inside a real working horse arena. The walls were covered in beautiful fabric, there was a huge dance floor on top of the dirt that the horses ride on, a big stage with a great band and beautiful chandaliers. Not sure what they do to the ground but we were all amazed that the dirt did not get on anything! Some of the ladies dresses were dragging along the dirt and we were shocked they did not get dirty. It was almost like a carpet (nice and soft on your feet). I kept checking the bottom of my shoes to see absolutely nothing. Simply amazed!!! They even brought in an instructor to teach us some line dances. The staff was very professional and great to talk to.

The food was outstanding. It was cocktail reception style with food stations all around. I liked that I could eat what I wanted when I wanted. 2 hours later I could eat more. We had great pulled pork and Buffalo chicken sliders, mac and cheese station with all the toppings, tamales, salad station and more. I dont think I got to try everything because I was so full. Desserts were on point also! Hand made churros and the milk shakes in little milk bottles were my favorite.

To end the entire Colorado experience, we could actually see the Milkyway outside!!! One of the staff told us all of the properties are not aloud to have any uplighting outside so as to not cause any light pollution. We were very appreciative of this because we had never actually seen the Milky Way. We were simply amazed!

Kathie, Mandy and the rest of the team at Lajoya Dulce really go above and beyond to give every guest a real genuine Colorado experience. The attention to detail is not missed by us. It was a storybook wedding we will never forget. We may even have to do our 10 year vows (in 2 years) just to experience this amazing venue again.

Words can't begin to describe the gratitude and joy we have for La Joya Dulce! From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we knew this is where would be married. The scenery is unlike anything we had seen before, it is serene, breathtaking and simply magical. The feeling you get standing at the alter saying 'I Do!' with the picturesque background beyond is priceless.Kathie and her team were amazing to work with. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was what we imagined, plus added their own personal touches to make our micro wedding special. We were lucky enough to use the florals from the wedding the day before and Kathie took it upon herself to additionally decorate the isle and our cake to make it special. We were so surprised and loved the personal touch! Kathie's communication from the start was prompt, she provided us insight to questions we didn't even know we had and ensured we had everything in place for the wedding day. There was always a plan A, B or C in the case the weather didn't cooperate or something didn't go as planned, this helped us to be reassured that they had our best interest at heart.

The venue at La Joya Dulce is far more than what you see online. Trust us when we say, pictures do not do this place justice! Lastly, the owners, Kathie and Wayne, treat you as family and lead with their hearts in all they do. Our wedding will forever be our favorite day thanks to them for all they did and the honor to have our wedding at La Joya Dulce. Thank you!
