Had the most amazing and wonderful experience riding horses for the first time in my life. Big thanks to Mrs. Angel for making the opportunity possible for my children and I. Mr. Joe is incredible in explaining what to do so that everyone is safe. The horses are so beautiful and well trained. I did not know how therapeutic horse riding can be. The few hours I was there I had so much peace and fun learning so much about them. We are excited for our next visit.

Joe is a passionate and knowledgeable teacher. He has taught me not only about how to ride better, but also about the history of horses, horse psychology, and so much more. After an exhaustive search for a trainer for my daughter we found Joe. My daughter lost her confidence after a fall and no longer would even trot without freaking out but still loved to ride and didn't want to quit. After her first lesson she was trotting without stirrups OR holding on. My jaw hit the floor. Joe has taught her things I would have never dreamed she would learn. Not just how to ride but horsemanship which I would like to believe everyone knows makes a better rider. He has an amazing hand with the horses and does not hit them. He helped me train my own and already I can see a big difference after one lesson. He will definitely visit my place again for a tune up, not for my horse but for me lol. Yes it's awesome for me to send my horse to be trained. But for me to know how to fix the issues with my horse when it crops up is always the best way to keep my horse in the right state of mind without always hiring a trainer for every single issue. Joe is affordable and it's VERY obvious he loves what he does. He's very very good with children. I could go on and on but try him yourself and I'm positive you will be just as pleased as I am. I am not even sure I can put into words how happy we are with Joe. My daughter came to Joe a few years ago after falling in love with a horse show on tv but never seeing a horse in real life! After that 1st lesson, she was hooked. He was patient, kind but above all that taught her to respect and really learn about horsemanship. It has never been about just getting on and riding. Ground work, rating the horse and basic horse fundamentals are taught first then gone over repeatedly. I appreciate that he always puts her safety first in teaching her that all horses are different and all situations can arise.

After every lesson he comes to explain what they went over, and always makes sure he explains it so that us not horse people understand it. I myself have learned things about horses that I never knew. Joe's passion for horses and what he does shows! I have seen horses first come in and then after he works with them and it's remarkable!

He has helped nuture my daughter's love for horses as well as riding. If you are looking for training for a horse or a rider, I highly recommend Joe.

So thankful to have found Joe! He is an amazing trainer and has far exceed anything I could have ever imagined. From training our daughter everything about horses from the ground up. And has helped us so much in the training of her very own horse. He takes such pride in his work and is so very caring for the horses and his students. Mr. Joe is so amazing with my daughter. My daughter was with a previous trainer and did equestrian horse shows and was not motivated after falling off but loved horses. When previous trainer stopped training we switched to Mr. Joe (as my daughter decided to do rodeos). After a few months, he got my daughter to not be scared to push a horse fast again and to face her fear. He is very patient and kind with her. I would highly recommend using Mr. Joe, if you are looking for a riding instructor.

Joe is absolutely amazing. He can work with the most advanced, and the most remedial horsemen. We are not "horse" people by any means. My daughter just has an incurable passion for animals and especially horses, and it's like therapy for her to be around them and continue to learn about them. When we found out he teaches the same philosophy as Buck Brannaman, we were quite pleased. My daughter is a very shy, sweet, gentle spirited person and Joe is beyond great with her and the horses. She is very comfortable around him. He is patient with her and the horses, and has taught her so much. Our goal for her lessons are simply for her to have that exposure and time with the horses and nature as we can afford it, and she just wants to ride and be with them. Joe is very understanding of that. We have tried quite a few stables, but this is where we will remain. I would highly recommend him. He is among the best.
