This place is insane crazy or crazy insane, take your pick! It's a literal junk yard with old and wore out boats, trucks, trailers and cars sitting around EVERYWHERE!! I think I counted at least 2 tvs laying around we rode past 3 different times. I can't believe how misleading the online reviews and pictures are. We got lead on a short "trail" around the horrible property in circles 3 times because there was literally nowhere else to ride. It was the worst $63 dollars I think I've ever spent. I will never again return nor would I recommend anyone to ever visit. Seriously.... Absolute joke of tourist attraction.

Sandy and Mary are amazing ladies! My daughter and I did a trail ride at the stables and we had a great time. Beautiful property and such gracious and down to earth host! We were made welcomed from the moment we arrived and learned a lot!

Lakeside Stables & Boat Ride is highly recommended for the entire family. Riding a horse was never on my bucket list nor my short list. At first, I was a bit terrified but actually loved the experience. Amazing and friendly horses ?. Staff was equally amazing and patient ?.

Brought our boys a few years ago. Weren't too familiar with what to do with the horse. Owner told us "just let Pepper take care of ya, he knows where the trail is". That horse made our day for sure.!

We love going here, the animals are so sweet and love for you to feed them. The staff is sweet. It is very difficult to get back the dirt road sometimes. But if you rent the boats and go out you can see even more wild life or go fishing, have a picnic. Then come back to see the monkey.

Was there. Today 1/18/19... Everyone there is super cool and friendly. My daddy daughter date with my 3 year old was perfect... She loved the baby pigs and llamas and birds. Our horse luke was cool smooth and very sweet. My daughter loved feedibg him treats. We got to watch them feed them breakfast and wandered around the property checking out the river and animals... The ride is shaded and beautiful... Stopped for pics under a beautiful 300 year old tree. I can vouch for the other reviewers review of Wendy our guide she is awesome and super friendly. It was my and my daughters qst time on horseback amd she made us feel super comfortable my 3 yr old was even steering the horse by the end. THE DRIVEWAY IS SANDYYYY BUTTTT, I drive a low mustang and was able to make it easily, just be careful... One reviewer said place is dirty.... ITS A FARM WITH FARM ANIMALS there is stuff that farm animals leave around lol its part of the package. It is not a big 5 star resort but it is a beautiful piece of property with kibd people beautiful animals and peaceful river what more could you ask for
