What a great relaxing day with friends and family. The music was great donated by Leroy Thomas, the dancing was fun and the food cooked and donated by Ronnie Nunez was the best 👌. Plans are to visit soon.

I have NEVER in my life gone camping (besides in a tent) and had to provide my own sheets, blankets, pillowcases, bath towels and kitchen towels before. You must bring your own EVERYTHING in the cottages. The drain stop in the bathtub is not the correct size so the water drains as you are bathing. The hot/cold water in the bathtub is labeled backwards and the water is extremely hot, so pay attention when adjusting your water so you do not burn yourself. We had to ask for a broom as one was not in the cottage. It is a pet friendly campground to an extent. We could not enjoy the beach because pets aren't allowed there but you are also not allowed to leave them in the cottage. You must buy drinks/food at the barn and the beach. At least at Poche's when there is a band playing you can bring your own ice chest. Do not try to reserve a golf cart. You go to pick it up (we were delayed some picking it up due to the heavy rains) and they tell you it is "spoken for" then call you at almost the end of the day the last full day you are there and ask why you never picked it up because they "had one waiting". Yes, the one that they told us was "spoken for". And there was absolutely no accountability on their end. We were in the store in person and my MIL told them who she was, and she had one reserved and absolutely nothing, blank stares. The only reason we were there is because my MIL wanted a family trip. This campground is trying to be like Margaritaville while providing the bare minimum possible. It is not the kind of campground to have all these extra costs on top of the cost of cottages that are not even supplied. Other people may like this campground, but I personally do not think it’s worth the money. And let’s not forget, they allow a person who has been in the news for some bad things to sell burgers outside of the barn where there were many women and children around. Definitely not a good look!

Not terrible but needs some work. We stayed in cabin 1 and the split mini AC was leaking on the floor in the bedroom. Maintenance did come fix the leaky AC right away. Staff was very friendly. The cabin smelled of damp musk even maybe mildew. The mattress is past time to replace it not comfortable at all and all springs. The fold out couch was the more comfortable spot but very firm. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The lake was nice just wish they carried more beer options. Said they sold Dos Equis but they did not have it. They were out of buckets each day so had to bring a foldable ice chest in to keep beer cold. For 200 a night I would have expected the bed to be in better condition.

This place is great and loads of fun for kids and adults. We enjoy camping here. It’s always clean. Management takes awhile to tend to sites that are reported to be a problem.

I have been staying at Lakeview for about 6 months while in town for work. This place is amazing, and I cannot say enough about how great the staff is, who always go above and beyond to help in anyway they can. Lakeview is well kept, and they are always working to improve the park, and fix any issue as soon as it pops up. This park is a great escape from the busy life, and defiantly the best RV park in the area.

Nous n’y avons pas dormi dans ce camping, mais nous avons passé une soirée au Barn qui recevait un groupe de musique cajun les « Amis de la Teche « . Ils étaient excellents . L’ambiance était joyeuse et nous avons dansé et rencontré de charmantes personnes . Très convivial dans une grange ! Rustique et sympa . Un bar permet de se rafraîchir . |(On y était allé car le Liberty théâtre réputé pour la musique et la danse le week end était en travaux . Entrée 10$par personne. Boissons à moins de 5$.
