Es un lugar para celebrar, para vestirse bien y sentirse especial. Es una atención maravillosa, amable, sonriente, te hacen sentir bienvenido. El chef visitó nuestra mesa y de verdad que la comida fue estupenda. Una cena de cinco platos, muy bien presentada y ese equilibrio sutil en los sabores, podías sentir cada ingrediente, y todos muy frescos. El Bellini de la casa es el mejor que he tomado en Bellingham y sus alrededores, jugo de naranja de verdad. Y los postres están en su punto exacto de dulce. La fruta fresca, muy delicioso.

We had a wonderful time with a large party of 8 in. A private room. The hosts are so welcoming and the food so good. But this is not a quick bite place, food does take time to be prepared and manifest- so come prepared to enjoy the company you are with!

We have wanted to go in here for years and so last night gave it a chance.

It wasn’t a good experience.

We ordered the special which and we later told it was not available so they suggested we swap it out with the risotto. We declined and ordered something else.

When we got our order, it came with a risotto which caused a little confusion. They did attempt to fix it by giving us what we ordered free of charge, but then charged us for the special.

In addition, the food was just off. Overly sweet.

We won’t be going back.

We celebrated a joint St. Pat's and B-day on 3/17. Owner, Roberto Trendel, and staff were highly attentive to every detail and gave us a memorable experience. The St. Pat's menu was very creative and went well beyond the traditional corned beef & cabbage. Leader Block has a warm, welcoming atmosphere which is complimented by Roberto's friendly personality and the food, service are superlative. The cambozola with tomato chutney and garlic confit is in a class of its own. The panna cotta is also incomparable. All our menu selections were first rate. Ferndale is fortunate to have this world-class trattoria.

Not normally someone to write these, but this place deserves a review.

Disclaimer that we were there for Valentine’s Day so it was definitely busy. We had a reservation later in the evening.

- We initially ordered an appetizer. Our hostess forgot we ordered and asked us if we wanted an appetizer again 15 minutes later

- The bruschetta looked like something a kindergartner would eat as an afterschool snack and was not even remotely worth $15. Tomatoes looked like they were diced from a can and on cheap French bread, there was no basil, pickled red onion or balsamic. It did not reflect what is shown in photos online at all or on the menu.

- We were told food would be 45-1 hour (no big deal, Valentine’s Day so whatever) but then we waited almost 2 hours for food

- The first time someone tried to bring us our dinner it was the one male server (presuming the owner) and it was for the wrong table which turned out to be in a completely different room

- The second time our server brought out our food, she was confused on if it was actually for us and then took it back to the kitchen (turned out to actually be our food).

- After all that, food was okay at best. My girlfriend’s dish was lukewarm and had clearly been sitting.

- Wine was slow to be refilled, water on table was never offered to be refilled, nice linens depicted in review photos online were actually just parchment paper lol

- Our bill ended up over $100 and there was no offer to comp us for anything or even an apology for the experience.

We have both worked food service jobs, so I can empathize with the front of house staff but this place needs help. Don’t recommend and not remotely worth the price and 3 hours of your time.

The best of the best in all areas! Bailey taught me all about the wines and really made me feel like I wasn't as dumb as I am lol!!! I would eat every meal here if I could for both the quality and to listen to the owner Roberto banter with ever single person there...

Really great meal here! And we went back again to take my sister and her husband as an anniversary present. Another wonderful meal with a really outstanding Caprese salad (the pickled onions were a great addition) and Ossobuco main!

Well, this was the 3rd time we have tried this place over the years. We want to support local businesses. So unfortunate that it again was not a great experience.
Pretty much echoing all the reviews about tiny portions for prices. The focaccia bread has disappeared and you’re now served low quality toasted french? Bread.
Salmon pasta was not good 😳 had a weird sweet taste?
Service was decent although for only having two other people in the restaurant it took quite awhile for our food to get to the table.
Just an expensive bummer.
