I boarded my horses there for 4 month as I was getting my own Stalls ready. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Jessica is friendly and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help me with some issues I was not to familiar with. The on site caretaker is amazing. Handy when needed and helpful if needed. Its a relaxed atmosphere where you can just sit if you want. Your are one mile from a 50,000 acre wildlife preserve, witch includes the famous Hollenbeck Canyon.
I've worked a number of local small ranches and this by far was the best kept. Waters always clean, stalls always clean.

I have worked with Little Big Horse Ranch a lot. I have always been impressed with them. I boarded my horses there when I lived in Jamul and kept them there as an absentee owner while I moved to Texas; they were so happy and taken care of. The arena lights were a huge bonus during the winter! And the arenas are nicely footed. The owner, Jessica, is very knowledgeable in equine health. I still call her when something happens for advice. I would 100% recommend this ranch for boarding your horses!

I have entrusted the care of my horses to this family for over a decade and continue to recommend them to the horse community. When it comes to horse health and maintenance, Jessica is the most knowledgeable and conscientious horse woman I know. Stewart has created the most impressive corral spaces and structures from the ground up, keeping horse safety and comfort as the highest priorities. If you are looking for a ranch who will treat your horses as their own, Little Big Horse Ranch is the place.

The LBH ranch is gorgeous, well taken care of, and welcoming. They have spacious corrals, a very nice arena, and beautiful trails near by. I have known Jessica for many years and can confidently say that I would trust her with any of my fur babies! She is incredibly knowledgeable about horses, caring, and friendly.

Jessica and Stewart are longtime friends at the Little Big Horse Ranch and around Jamul. Jessica worked for my family’s feed store off and on for 19 years and her horse knowledge is impressive to say the least. Stewart can pretty much fix anything! Jess and Stew are honest and hard working. Your horse will be very happy with them at The LBHR! It’s a beautiful space to be in, tidy and well-kept. The horses are well-fed and content. Drama-free and kid-friendly ranch.

I've had my two horses at The LBHR for three years and I (and they) couldn't be happier.

All of the stalls and corrals offer the horses ample space to move around. They can see and interact with one another in a safe, horse-friendly environment. The property is open and peaceful, fostering calmness in the horses.

We have a wonderful boarder family. No drama, helpful, welcoming, fun, supportive, and friendly.

The LBHR management is stellar. Everything is always clean (cleanest water troughs I've ever seen!) and well maintained.

The LBHR is small, but mighty in terms of horse care. They go above and beyond to be sure each horse's unique needs are met. They are very attentive and are able to quickly spot anything unusual with each horse.

Jessica's experience as a vet tech is invaluable. One of my horses has special needs and I never have to worry about his care when I'm out of town.

I can't recommend The Little Big Horse Ranch enough!

As a boarder at LBHR since June, I can say it is immaculate, rain or shine, has a safe and homey feel, and is not clique. I never once have to question if any aspect of our boys care isn’t being provided to the fullest extent. Each member of the outstanding crew is easy to work with and provide complete piece of mind to their boarders. They have an on-site caretaker who lives at the property, so in the event of emergency, someone is always there. If you or someone you know is looking for a boarding facility with amazing amenities and loads of trail access right out the gate, Jessica is always gracious and happy to give you a tour!

LBH is one of my favorite ranches to visit- They are a great family with years of horse experience. LBH is kept clean, fed properly and no horse boarding drama!!! Jessica is one of the few people I would trust to care for my horses!
