This is large scale size of dog park which is consist of 2 separate enclosed Off-leash park. One is for small size doggies and another one is for the rest. My friend told me about this place and since I located at Battleground, I decided to stop by. My dog really enjoyed running around with many dogs. This park is also connected to the woods when we get outside from park at the backside door.

One of our favorite places to roam. Big wide open spaces with good size parking lot to accommodate cars and two separate fence areas. One for the smaller pups and one large space for bigger dogs. The terrain is pretty flat and accessible, considering some other dog parks. It gets busy but they are always having fun.

Best dog park hands down. Huge fenced area to run with your dog. There’s a designated small dog area that’s separate. We always meet nice dogs and their humans here. Everyone seems responsible. There’s an added bonus trail system behind the fenced dog park that is sure to delight pups and their people especially on a sunny day.

Located just 2 minutes west of the intersection of HWY 503 and NE 149th st in between Vancouver & Battleground.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DOG PARK. If you’re not from the area, it’s absolutely worth the drive. WIDE open spaces with a stunning view of Mt. Hood on a clear day.

Dakota dog park (Dakota Dog Park is listed with photos and videos along with other dog parks in my reviews) is the closest park to my house. However, Luna and I venture out into the country to enjoy the peace and solitude of this huge wide open Park. I really enjoy the other dog owners that frequent here as well. If you’ve got a dog that likes to play a little rough, like jumping, tackling and mouthing other dogs this is the place that has the pups and cool pup owners for you. I have found when taking Luna to inner-city dog parks throughout Portland that other dog owners are intimidated by her energy level. Where is out in the country other dog owners seem to have a full understanding that that’s just how some breeds operate.

I cannot fathom why other reviews of Lucky memorial dog park mention “mud pit”? I suppose the area around the running water faucet could be considered muddy? As you can see from my pictures and videos, both the large dog park and the small dog park are all solid grass and bark chip trails.

If I had to sum up this dog park in one word, it would be …..”M’erica!”

Great dog park with room for dogs of all sizes to fully open up. The walking trail around the rim of the large park is a nice touch. Water and bowls are available. Oh, and the view isn't bad.

Large and small dog areas with on-site watering station. Also a large nature preserve with walking trails behind the park that is only accessible through the park. Also an arboretum just before you get to the park where leashed dogs are welcome. Friendly people and dogs (for the most part anyway).
