Exceptional Hospitality and Unforgettable Experience at Manasota Beach Club

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Manasota Beach Club, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a special place, steeped in family tradition and generations of dedication. Even though they were dealing with the aftermath of a hurricane, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect.

A special shout-out goes to Buffy, who was the best host we could have asked for. Her kindness and warmth made us feel right at home. She took the time to check in on us and ensure we had everything we needed, despite the challenges the team was facing. Her dedication to the guests truly embodies the spirit of Manasota Beach Club.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the private beach. It’s a hidden gem, filled with beautiful shells and even shark teeth, making every walk along the shore a treasure hunt. The best part is the feeling of having the place to yourself—serene, untouched, and utterly relaxing.

You can feel the history and love that has gone into making Manasota Beach Club what it is today. It’s a place where time slows down, and you can truly unwind. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We will be back soon Buffy! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

This place is a hidden gem and unlike anything you can find these days. We spent a weekend here for some R&R and it was better than we could have anticipated. It's family owned and you can truly sense that, feeling right at home immediately. The care that goes into this property for it to keep it's old Florida feel and remain one with nature is impressive. Turtles, iguanas, and pelicans can be found throughout the property. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Manasota Beach Club was simply perfect! It feels worlds away, like an "Old Florida" time capsule. The location is unparalleled -- we saw so much wildlife, and so few people! Hatching sea turtles, tarpon rolling in the distance, a ray jumping in front of the sunset, endless sharks' teeth on the beach, lots of reef fish just off the beach seen while snorkeling, the resident gopher tortoise ambling by during brunch, and a quick peek of a bobcat! When it was too hot on the beach, the kids really enjoyed the pool and exploring the grounds. Buffy and her staff were warm and welcoming, and the other guests were lovely to connect with. We can't wait to plan our next visit!

The best thing here was the location. It ends there. Way over priced, didn’t honor the summer rate as promised. Nobody knows what’s going on there. If Historic is another name for slowly allowed to deteriorate, they met their title. Work out room and equipment was circa 1960, rusted and old. Forget a bike ride, as they met the same criteria. The pool was clean. The food was included which was ok, but not worth the fee. If you happen to stay on a Pickle ball tournament day, you get what they eat, hot dogs and hamburgers but we paid a much higher price for this menu, with no choice. Are they crazy? They told me to argue with our credit card company if there was a problem. I will never go there again with my family. My first impression was a bad one.

We booked a weekend getaway and booked an additional night! I didn’t want to leave The staff is amazing. We stayed in the Gull. It is a just like stepping into a vintage beach house. Our beach house was very clean and comfortable. The view was great. The grounds are immaculate. I cannot say enough good things about Manasota Beach Club.

It’s a place my husband and I look forward to year after year we stayed here 10 years ago and we wait patiently every year to return, even when RedTide was strong it didn’t bother us because we love our special place. The privacy and the tranquility we can’t stay away. The Owners and everyone we ever dealt with has been nothing than more accommodating to all our needs. This has absolutely been a great part of my life and I as well as my husband look forward to revisiting our home away from home. |I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a place to relax and enjoy time away. Great places to go and eat, I could go on forever but I will end it by saying I hope this place never stops being what it is. |One more thing before I end this, when my husband ask me where we would like to go next year or would I like to go somewhere else different? My answer is to my 2nd home. ❤️

We stopped here to walk our dog as there was noone around this area. We we're told to leave .I forgot to bring my dogs water bowl. I looked by the recycle bin to find something to put her water in. I was questioned like a criminal. I was advised there were cameras on the property two times. I simply wanted to stop and let my old dog out to walk. I never leave a mess when i walk her and she is leashed at all times. If the staff treats there guests here like I was treated, Id advise scratching this off your list for fun and recreation.
