McCarter Theater is like having Broadway in your backyard. I have seen several productions every year for many years now and McCarter never disappoints. This is a gem of a theater and I highly recommend if you have never been to pick a production or special venue that they have and go see for yourself the magic of McCarter. Year after year they produce quality productions that have gifted actors and actresses as well as set design, sound and costume designers in their theater productions. Having recently seen Cyclone, Choice, Dreamgirls and Empire Records at McCarter Theater these productions were amazing. McCarter never fails to show why it’s a Tony Award winning Regional theater. Take my word for it McCarter Theater is the real deal.

A good theatre, a beautiful hall, I really liked the audience. They were incredibly warm in their reception of the jazz ensemble « The Hot Sardines ». The staff is very polite and tactful. There is a parking lot nearby, and you can also park on the neighbouring streets.

We go every year to Christmas Carol and we eat locally. This year I forgot to order tickets, so had to go after Christmas. Show was Fabulous. Only real issue is parking, but we finally found a spot. The staff at the theater are always so friendly and helpful, the play is very well done. We get box seats, little pricey, but feel well worth it. Kids have a great time as do the adults will continue to keep this a holiday tradition

Great theater in Princeton with two performance spaces. Very comfortable, quality production. Easy parking a short distance away, lovely (if expensive) restaurants across the street and a bar in the venue. My only complaint is that I hey do not have enough going on. Definitely worth a visit if you see something interesting on their list of scheduled events.

We recently attended a performance of A Christmas Carol. While it may not have been Broadway-level production, the show was entertaining and full of heart. The cast brought the classic story to life with enthusiasm and charm.

The intimate setting of the theatre made the performance feel personal and engaging. It’s clear that a lot of effort and passion went into the production.

If you’re looking for a festive outing to get into the Christmas spirit this a great local option.

It is indeed a great privilege to have this theater in our community. We are fortunate to have many renowned musicians performing for us at a very reasonable price. The venue is charming and has a quaint atmosphere.

great venue. classy building with many renovations, right in the middle of university city. decent bar and super clean facilities! and the concert hall itself has great layout ans superb acoustics. we were very much impressed!
