Melbourne Civic Theater is small, cozy, intimate. We sat on the second row center to watch Dr. Cook’s Garden. It was a treat to be so close to the actors, especially because their acting was superior. As local / community theaters go, this is now our favorite. When we return to Florida, we will return to Melbourne Civic Theater.

Tonight we saw It’s A Wonderful Life at MCT by a radio performance. It was spectacular. Watching the performance as it would have been performed in the 1930/40’s was a real pleasure. The show was refreshing and a original idea on a classic show! Spectacular!!!
If you want to see and hear a original performance of a radio show this is the show.
Loved every minute. The actors was fabulous!
The music was lovely and the commercials were funny. Truly a awesome show!

Just saw Dr Cook's Garden. Wait for act II. The most riveting acting. Compared to many, many plays seen at MCT, this was the absolute best.
p.s. maybe cover Dr Cook with a sheet so he's not sooo hot

This was me and my husband's first time going to this theater. We saw "Leading Ladies" 04/01/23. Everyone working with the theater was so nice! It was a very small theater with only a handful of rows. Very intimate atmosphere. We had a lot of fun! We are looking forward to seeing more shows here!

There is a lot of potential for this theater. It's in a great location and they have wonderful raw talent, but lack in their theatrics, stage design, and props. However, it's a smaller stage compared to the other theaters in the area and very limited seating (currently 30-40 or so). So, with COVID and all it's tough to manage and I give them props for pushing through.

They recently had a play of Christmas Carol featuring only four actors that did a phenomenal job with very little. It was all about the dialogue and using your imagination and they did an outstanding job at bringing the story to life! Looking forward to seeing this theater grow and develop further!
