I had a fantastic time at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights! I went to see *Mean Girls*, and it was an absolute blast—especially because my cousin was one of the stars! The theater has a small and cozy layout, which made the experience feel intimate and engaging. The seats were comfy, and the entire place was clean and well-maintained. The employees were all friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall enjoyment.
I can't wait to go back for another show!

Visited to see “The Christmas Carol” opening night and I loved every second of it! The lightning, the sound, the intimacy of the crowd… this theatre is one of the good ones!

Parking was free for the show (not sure if it’s always like this), around a nice amount of food places in case you want to eat before or after the show, and they even have their own mini bar to get wine or beer during the show (I tried their red wine and it was nice for someone who doesn’t really drink wine!)

We saw Cinderalla, which was a very nice production. The performances were very good. The costume budget must have been very tight as the costumes and hairpieces were pretty amateurish, almost high
school level. The best part was Cinderalla herself coming out to meet all the little girls. Very sweet.

The Women’s Jazz Festival: Mary Halvorson Amaryllis Project & Alexis Lombre performed at Metropolis. They were fantastic and the space is terrific. Parking was plentiful. Had a wonderful time.

It's always easy to see the actors at the Metropolis since you're close to the stage from any seat in the house! We've seen a variety of shows over the years: a couple of "The Second City" improv shows, a CS Lewis impersonator, The Midnight Circus, and a few tribute bands. So fun to be close and feel part of the show. I've even taken improv classes at the Metropolis, too, and the classes taught by Guy Wicke are high quality, full of fun, and you learn a ton about the craft of improvisation. Both their shows AND their classes are highly recommended!

Went to see the classic Cinderella on opening night with a few girlfriends and it did not disappoint. The scenery and the actors/actresses were excellent. Was a great girls night out.

Fabulous cast, outstanding musicality! Took home the high energy and still talking about the fantastic connection to the audience. Even if you've already seen it (i did years ago) THIS is the rendition to revisit! ❤ Well done, Metropolis Theater ?
