I was extremely disappointed during my visit to the theater on November 30, 2024. The cleanliness was unacceptable. Popcorn and trash were scattered in the bathroom, including the stalls, and the trash cans were overflowing. Behind the concession stand was a mess, with popcorn and trash everywhere. It appeared there was an issue with the slushy machine, as dirty rags were piled underneath it. Additionally, we found trash stuck between our recliners.

The overall lack of sanitation was shocking. While I understand staffing challenges may arise, this level of uncleanliness is unacceptable for any establishment. It left me wondering if they need more support, as the state of the theater made me want to volunteer to help clean it myself.

Lord Almighty this place is dirty. Came up due to the heated recliner experience. Consessions was it of ice, and when the manager was told she said ,"I know" and rolled her eyes. Then the carbonation was out. As an entire group was waiting I noticed how dirty this place is. This is behind the drink machine but in plain sight. Last time here.

I’m posting this review to try to assist this theatre in the mess it’s become. I used to work here quite a few years back before the downfall. First off, use hot hot hot water after mopping. The chemicals you put into the mop buckets to clean the floors leaves them sticky when they dry(dear customers, this is the reason for the sticky floor. It’s not because it’s dirty. It’s actually because it’s clean. But the mind can tell you differently when it’s sticky because the mind sees sticky as gross and dirty).

Second, I know it’s a crazy use, but use a small amount of hand sanitizer when cleaning the counters. The spray for cleaning the counters leaves a layer of film so it makes the counters feel slimy and wet. Use the hand sanitizer after using the spray and USE A CLEAN RAG. Don’t use the same rag you used with the spray.

Third, the ice machines need to be reset. The top silver part, there’s 2 screws on the bottom. Take those off and lift up the silver cover and it’ll reveal the inside mechanism of the ice machine. There’s a flip switch. Flip it off when you close and let everything thaw. When the opening supervisor comes in have them turn them back on. It’ll take awhile to make new ice, so probably do what you’ve been doing by grabbing ice from the ice maker in the kitchen until it’s made enough. It’ll probably take a full day to fill with ice. If that doesn’t work you’ll need to put in a service request to pepsi for them to come fix it. (I know the business doesn’t like to spare any change though so only if the corporation will allow the cost of maintenance)

Fourth, the seats that are wearing down in the lux side. Move those seats to the front rows and swap those front row(or front 2 rows depending on auditorium) seats to the ones that are damaged. There’s 2 bolts under the seats that you’ll need to remove to move it. They are VERY heavy so be careful and have a team help you. Put the uglier seats in the spots that don’t get used much. Swap the front rows side seats first and work your way to the middle. The seat numbers on the arm rests are Velcro. Remember to take those off and swap them on the seats you are moving. They are pretty stuck there but I promise it’s Velcro and you won’t break it off.

Fifth, use just a little more salt and oil when making your popcorn. Press the oil button twice and put in an extra scoop or 2 of the salt. It tastes SO MUCH better. You’ll get a few concerns that it’s too salty. But it’s better than the often dislike of the popcorn.

And last. This is for the GM/operations manager. I don’t know if the suppliers are out of stock. The sodas I highly doubt it. But you need to make sure you put in orders by Thursday to receive truck on Tuesday. Have your supervisors do weekly inventory on cups, bags, and soda bibs. If you’re down to 1 bib in the stock room of a soda on Tuesday inventory, order 3 more on Thursday. Of course coming into busy Christmas time, you’ll want to accommodate for that. But for regular business stick with that. Also depends on what bib. There should always be 5 bibs of pepsi in the back. And pretty please do FIFO. First in first out. That’s what’s making the sodas taste flat. The syrup is sitting there on the shelf for too long. Date the bibs as they come in and have the employees changing it look at the oldest date and use that. Which also means don’t overstock. You should use your bibs within 2 weeks. If after 2 weeks you have more than 2 bibs sitting there on the shelf from the shipment 2 weeks ago, you’re ordering too much.

Request the nightly janitors to clean the carpets.

CLEAN UNDER THE LUX SEATS. This is something that will take some time. Probably a weeks worth of work. Every night during close, have an employee go into an open auditorium with a mop bucket of hot water and a lot of rags. And I do mean a lot. Recline the seats up and use a hot wet rag to clean up the sticky soda messes. It seems like tedious work, BUT you find a LOT of money. I once found $500 total under the seats

Extremely dirty and falling apart. Employees standing behind the counter on their phones instead of cleaning. I was served my ice for my drink out of a bucket because all 4 ice machines were broken. And the bathroom urinals were flooded and leaking all over the bathroom.
I was here this past summer, and it was clean, and everything was working. This is clearly a failure in management and holding employees accountable.

Expensive and disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone.

It’s unfortunate to have watched this place go downhill so quickly as someone who frequently goes to this theater. Everything is falling apart: the seats are ripping apart at the seams, the ice machines are broken, the soda machines don’t work, and when they do, the soda is flat. The card readers don’t work the first couple of times, and the Icee machines seemed not to be working. I watched as the employees scrambled and stressed out, trying to accommodate the broken ice machines by manually filling up your cup with ice from a bucket. The staff was friendly even under the pressure, so kudos to them. Whoever owns this facility should feel ashamed of how they let it go. Missing ceiling tiles, random holes in the wall, broken lights, random holes in the concessions counter, bathroom stalls out of order. This place is a hot mess. Everything you touch feels grimy and gross. As much as I hate to say this, I don’t think I will return to this theater anytime soon. You have lost a loyal customer.
