Visited to see the annual Miniature Art Exhibition hosted in the Museum. The exhibition is a must see as it showcases wide variety of miniature paintings from all over the world. The Museum on its own is well curated with various artifacts associated with local and Kansas history. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and answered every question with immense patience. Hidden jewel for history buffs.

Even if it's a drive, this museum is well worth the trip. For the size of the area, they have a great space and so much locally found items to really express the history of the area. The guides there will show you around and know the inner history of the displays and surrounding areas. It is just a lovely, quiant museum that is a surprise on the inside.

We made a special trip to the museum to view an art exhibit. We were not disappointed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The paintings were amazing, but there was much more to absorb in the museum. Definitely worth the trip. Great day trip.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The displays are awesome. And the number and quality of items on display are quite impressive for the size of the museum. They have a Miller wagon made in Paola in 1865!! You should stop by if you haven't been there before.

The workers were friendly and helpful, but could have been less attentive (let people look at the display without so much talking). Also, the new native American display was nice, but older timeliness was a little confusing.

Very nice collection of historical items and details. The staff was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Considering the size of the museum there was an incredible amount of artifacts and historical stories.

Website said they were open 10 am -2 pm. Arrived and they were closed. Disappointed.
