This is a great place to plug into the talented local art community. They have a maker's faire once a month on the first Friday of the month from 5:00pm to 8:00pm open mic music , if you are in Middletown CA on those days!!!

Wonderful art space! They did a great job on the exhibition I attended - the work was well lit and displayed. Gallery personnel were friendly without being intrusive. Only one suggestion: formally introduce the artists to the gathering. We had no idea until the end that many of the artists were there. All types of art and consistent high quality. The grounds have artwork as well.

Makers Fair was perfect I enjoyed good food it was open mic so if you have a poem a song or just some words to express positively you are empowered and inspired here There was The Dye Shirts hand and Baskets Some pants that were full of flavor that I must check-out further the first Friday in August Hand made soaps Lake County diamond jewelry Beer Wine as. The place is almost invisible to anyone who doesn't have a reason to be there (a class...an exhibit). Not sure what part it plays in the communities nearby. I live nearby and only knew of it because one of my teens wanted to find a class locally and it popped up on the internet. I mean, why do local residents need to do a Google search to know about this place? Now that we're part of it, it's not for everyone. Unless you are in the right clique, your art won't be displayed...some teachers won't bother with you...there will be almost no opportunities to get involved (no invites of course). It seems like there should be a Board of Directors to run this place better.
