We adopted the sweetest, most affectionate kitten in early January. We could immediately see how dedicated the whole team is. The animals' welfare is their first concern: we couldn't take her home immediately because she had an eye infection that they were duly treating her for. They even called a few times to check on her after we brought her home. Amazing, caring staff!

I can't say enough good things about Missuake Humane! They recently spayed my dog, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, informative, and professional. My dog had a bad experience at another vet, who claimed to have spayed her but didn’t. Thankfully, they caught the mistake and took great care of her. My Rocky (Dog) was treated with special care. The staff was very kind and friendly. I felt comfortable with leaving him in their care. They explained his aftercare very clearly in a manner I understood. Rocky recovered and is doing wonderful after his neuter. Highly recommend

The Missaukee Humane Society is amazing! We have gotten two (2) kittens from the facility and the experience has been fantastic both times. We really appreciate the amount of time that we were allowed to watch the animals and handle them. There is no rush and it allows for a positive experiencing choosing the right animal for your home. The staff is kind and understanding. We would absolutely make the hour drive to go back to this particular Humane Society location.

Such a wonderful place to take your pets for vet services. Staff is compassionate and super friendly, cost is very low and the process is easy. I had my four boys neutered and all of their surgeries were successful & recovery was seamless. The MHS team calls and checks up on each patient. I highly recommend using them & if you are looking for adopting, check them out as well.

I adopted my dog from Missaukee Humane Society five years ago. He was a transfer from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is the sweetest boy. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful through the adoption process.
