What a great night of music! We are so delighted to have Mixed Bag in our space. Their talent & synergy is top notch with arrangements of jazz classics, as well as several other delightful “genre bend” surprises. Bluecorn was filled with music, guests, laughter, and great food & beverage. Thanks to the guys for setting the vibes. Excited to have them again.

My wife Janet and I have seen Mixed Bag quite a few times now in the Montrose area . Every time has been a great entertaining evening. We dance , we laugh , we have fun guessing the name of the songs . Thanks guys for being in this area . We can’t wait for the next show !

I arrived the reception hall late with 100 little worries on my mind, but as I walked up with to the melodious sounds of horn & bass playing "Take 5," I knew then that everything was going to be more than fine. These musicians are talented, flexible, professional with a good dose of personality. It was the easiest and best decision I made to hire a live band instead of a DJ for my wedding. I am holding onto their card for our next soiree. I would highly recommend these guys for any occasion.

Josiah Austin was such a delightful addition at our daughter's wedding. He worked closely with the bride and groom to plan the music for the ceremony and the cocktail reception, and he participated in the rehearsal so that he was well-prepared for the event. Mixed Bag is aptly named! Their musical style is varied (from classic jazz standards to modern favorites with a smooth beat). The members jive uniquely with one another and engage with the crowd without forcing their presence. We were in an upscale wine bar and the tempo and volume matched the atmosphere perfectly. Mixed Bag would add life to any gathering, large or small!
