I saw the first ever Project Nunway by the Ladies of the Lake. Seats were good, a little slim for a plus size person but it wasn't the worst. Careful on the steps, a few people tripped. But the show was great, the venue was intimate and accommodating.

Beautiful venue to see a performance! I loved being in the house at any show at mixed blood. Particularly for fringe- it has the best amenities 🙂

Had my first visit this weekend and I loved my entire experience. I came for the show “Imagine the US without Racism”. The building is easy to find and ample street and parking lot parking around the building. Entering the building they check your Covid vaccine and have mask if you left yours at home. The seating is like an amphitheater but small abs intimate. Any seat in the building you feel like you are in the front rows. The script and actors was phenomenal. There were some tear provoking moments. Afterwards a group from my university was Able to meet with a theater director and discuss the play. I would highly recommend experiencing a show here. I will be back soon!

One of the best entertainment experiences I've had. The ticket pricing options are great and provide a wonderful opportunity for low income patrons to enjoy live theater. The inclusiveness of this theater seems unparalleled. Multiple ASL interpreters and supertitles above the stage were provided for the hearing-impaired. They also had audio description services for those who have visual impairments and free transportation options as well. The people at Mixed Blood make a concentrated effort to have productions, cast and crew that represent a wide variety of folks, be it age, race, income, orientation, gender, etc. Beside all these great things, the production itself (How to Use a Knife by Will Snider) was a fantastic show that left my partner and I with all sorts of discussion on our way home. I can't wait to go back again for the next production this season.

Very interesting place. Great sight lines. Great sound. The parking is a bit tough. Many great restaurants in the area. A classic building. Saw HAIR there a few weeks ago. Most cast members were over 55! A great place. You will enjoy the place if you have never been. Go early to get a good parking place.

FANTASTIC!! 100% accessible in that they do everything possible to accommodate any person that comes. They also are 100% affirming of all genders and have all gender bathrooms and are 100% accepting and embracing of all people. They really do talk the talk and walk the walk for being wonderful allies and accomplices in equity, justice and human rights advocacy. They hosted the Minneapolis Trans Voices Cabaret and it was absolutely beautiful and moving. I'm not a person who cries often and especially not in front of others. This show honestly I was in tears for most of it in a good way - I was also so glad they required masking for all - one for the overall health and respect of others but two because then people couldn't see I was crying lol. 100% this theater is amazing, beautiful and unique and everyone we encountered there was the same.
