Even put him in the front seat. Thank you so much for your kindness, quick handling for this sweet old man. I know your job is not very rewarding Thank you, again"

Our family cannot afford the private/emergency options for end-of-life services…and the humane society in our county has several-week waits. We called Monroe County Animal Control and they were kind and helpful on the phone. It was also an affordable choice for our family. When we arrived today, everyone was very nice and compassionate. It’s not an easy experience, but it was made a tiny bit better by the staff member who helped us through the process. I do not know his name, but we can make out his initial “B” on the paperwork. Please know that your support today made all the difference. Thank you, again.

Yesterday our little man got out. He was taken to Monroe County Animal Control by our neighbor. I was up worried most of the night, beyond worried about him. He is old and very very anxious. I have had terrible experience boarding him due to his anxiety. I was pleasantly surprised to find him clean, happy, and not overly anxious this morning. They even sent me a photo ensuring he was okay. We are beyond thankful of the care and support they provided until they opened this morning! We are also thankful for our neighbors ensuring his safety!

I just called regarding my moms dog who unfortunately had to be taken by animal control, for a matter we are all feeling HORRIBLE about and mourning terribly. The lady I talked to on the phone was INCREDIBLY rude and provided very little information about the dog or any consoling factors, she simply had no sympathy and no means of understanding. Hoping when we go to see our dog we don’t have to deal with her and we can deal with someone a little more humane and compassionate.

Pricing for adoptions is nice but what isn’t so nice is when they tell you they have an animal available they posted on Facebook, and once you get there they tell you they sent the animal to rescue. You can tell they are understaffed and overwhelmed here. I get it but it definitely shows. Adopted from a rescue instead and was told by rescue “they don’t know what they’re doing over there.” Yep!

Pulled in last night to get a license got there at 5:30. They close early because in a officer got into a accident at noon. No signs on doors. Talk to an officer that was leaving she was rude and said they posted it on Facebook,15 minutes before I got there

They take exemplary care of the animals there. I lost both my son and my Caesar, 21 yrs old, got my Jax there. He's such a goofball! He brings light back into my life.

There’s a very aggressive dog down the road that chases bikers and runners. Not only chasing but he tries to bite and some how I’ve only been lucky he’s only grazed my ankle. There’s a bunch of kids around where I live so it’s a huge concern. I called and asked if someone could look into it (being that if anyone saw the state of their farm there’d be a bigger case than just the dog) a day later I went back out on a bike ride and the dog was still there. He sees you coming and runs at you, physically jumping up at the bike snapping at me. AND NO ONES COME TO TAKE THE DOG YET HOW
