What an amazing company that provided me with a great experience. Carlos was my guide, and he was just spot on! A little of my story, so you can realize this ride was a VERY big deal to me. I used to LOVE Horseback Riding. Then life happened, had kids, gained weight and ultimately was too heavy to ride for 27 years. In the last year, I have lost 89 pounds, and finally am where I will keep a horse safe if I ride. So, for a celebration, we called MB Equestrian and they fit me in that day, private ride on the beach, and I cannot say enough about how perfect this beautiful experience with Carlos was. He was safety conscience, clearly loved his job and loved these animals. I'm a spiritual person and there were so many moments where I felt God's grace was on this ride with me! Thank for healthy safe horses, and the care that I can tell you and the staff take of them, and thank you for Ranger. He was such a gift to me that day. I have so much gratitude for such a great experience and highly recommend this Equestrian Center.

What a wonderful experience, and a special thanks to Carlos for a most enjoyable ride, helping to celebrate our wedding anniversary. He was a pleasure to speak with, cheerful, shared tidbits about the surrounding area and best practices when riding horses, and just all around a great guide. The horses were easy-going, the ride on Salinas River State Beach, first between the dunes, and then on the beach itself, simply awesome. We would 100% recommend the trail ride to anyone. Top notch!

An added note - it is so apparent that the MBEC truly cares for their horses - they are friendly, well-groomed, and look well taken care of. That speaks so well of this Center.

Today we a blast riding on the beach! I rode Elvis and he was taller than the rest, but very gentle and a joy to ride!
We had a wonderful guide who's name was Carlos. He was very kind and knowledgeable and had lots of good stories to tell about the area and the history.
We will be back again soon for a longer trip for sure!

Purchased the beach ride for my husband’s birthday. He loved it, had a lot of fun. It was far more interesting than a standard slow paced walk on a beach, and included getting into the water! 🙂 Lisa, our guide was very accommodating and even took some photos to share later. Our 5-year old loved it as well - he was able to pat the horses (before and after my husband’s ride). Highly recommended! Very nice people.

It is a very beautiful place!!! All my daughter wanted for her birthday was to ride a horse and even though she is small they were able to accommodate a pony ride for her! It was a wondeful experience! Our favorite were the baby goats!!! ❤

My girlfriend and I made a last minute phone call the day before our vacation ended and they were able to take us out on our last day. Lisa was our guide and it ended up being just the three of us. It was really great being on the water on a perfect day. It is a secluded beach north of Monterey so the ride was just incredibly peaceful. Lisa was a great guide and helped us when needed but gave us some room at the same time. Our horses, Blue and Little Dude were great and it was an amazing end to a fantastic trip. Cowboys wannabes like myself should note that the horses cannot run unless there is a lot of beach at low tide.

My husband booked this for me for my birthday. The original reservation had to be changed by the company, but they accommodated us with a private ride one day earlier. Our guide Bridget was awesome. Directions to the staging area were perfect. Bridget was ready to go before we arrived. She gave great instructions and let us ride to our ability. Bridget was also a great conversationalist, and took pictures for us. Sundance and little dude or great horses to ride. No problems at all and had a beautiful day. Thank you for making my birthday. Awesome!
