Saw Beauty & the Beast. Speechless by performance. Costumes spectacular. The Beast had a really strong voice and needs to continue performing. There was a soundboard difficulty that resulted in a lower volume singing. However, I thought it was intentional as it was the most romantic moment of the show, and singing wasn't meant to overpower the romance.
I'm so glad the city of Danbury is stepping up to continue live performances and started renovation on the set. Find the money to make more improvements. I hope future shows are as noteworthy.

I've been a patron and participant for over a decade. This is a wonderful theater worthy of Broadway status. A fun night out for the family and a great place for artists, actors, performers and singers to get together and shine. Staff there is super friendly. They even have a golf cart that will bring you from the parking lot to the theater. Bring a picnic, a lot of bug spray and enjoy the show.

2021- I'm updating this review after seeing an amazing performance of Godspell. I don't even like this musical, but I absolutely loved this show. The singing was first class and the the timing of the actors was impeccable. I laughed, cried and actually got goosebumps a few times. This theater has has a tough time between the pandemic and a storm that destroyed their stage last winter. It was obvious that everyone involved poured their hearts into making this show happen. Well done!

Wow! Saw Into the Woods last night and loved it! The cast did a superb job (and no, I'm not a cast member or even slightly related to one.) The singing was outstanding, as was the orchestra. It was the fourth show I've seen there and probably the best so far. If you've never been, it's an outdoor community theater right next to a golf course. You have to bring your own chair (and seriously, don't forget the bug spray.) It's a lot of fun though.
