Cutre. Parecen disfraces más que ropas auténticas. La forma de sentarte es incómoda. La comida de barra libre no vale mucho y no tiene apenas variedad ni calidad como para ser una degustación local. El espectáculo tampoco nos gustó. No lo recomendaría.

El espectáculo está bien, te dicen que los tatuajes de los Hula dancer no son por decoración ( no ví ni un tatuaje real). Bailan bien, pagas por supuestamente comer hasta artarte y no es así, quitan el buffet bastante rápido. Lo de las bebidas si está bien. Lo de la foto: tienes una foto gratis con los bailarines. Pero la de la entrada la pagas. Muy caro en mi opinion y poca chicha.

I don’t know what all these negative comments are about. We (10 of us) lived every single minute. The staff is super friendly, the energy is amazing and addictive. The food was great for a buffet style outside. I don’t have any complaints at all. I have wanted to see a luau since I was 12 (i am now 48). This met everything on my list. The dancers showed us their spirit and belief in their culture. I only wish I knew the language to better understand. I would recommend this place anytime. Even the parking attendant,
The greeters,
The waitstaff. EVERYONE!

The Myths of Maui Luau at the Royal Lahaina Resort was nothing short of magical! My husband and I decided to book the general admission tickets to this show, and it absolutely blew us away. The performance immerses you in the rich traditions of Polynesian culture with its incredible storytelling, mesmerizing hula dances, and a jaw-dropping fire knife finale ?. The dancers were phenomenal, showcasing a deep connection to the myths and history of Hawaii and other Polynesian islands.

Each segment of the show was beautifully crafted, taking the audience on a journey through ancient Hawaiian legends with vibrant costumes, rhythmic drumbeats, and graceful movements ?✨. The fire knife dance was truly the highlight—breathtaking and skillfully performed, it left everyone in awe.

What made the evening even more special was the setting. The ocean breeze, the stunning sunset, and the overall ambiance added an extra layer of magic to the show ?. It felt like being transported to a different world, one filled with the true spirit of aloha.

If you have the chance and the means, I highly recommend this experience. It is much more than just a performance—it is a celebration of culture, history, and artistry. The combination of beautiful dances, compelling stories, and a perfect atmosphere make this luau a must-see for anyone visiting Maui! ✨

I like this Lu'au because it was outdoors next to the beach so you have a breath taking view of the sunset. Their choices of food was not as grandiose but the flavors were there for sure! If you love alcoholic beverages, you are going to have a fun time here! The staff were nice. VIP seating brings you not only closer to the stage but also first in line at the entrance and the buffet! Come hungry and you will leave happy. The fire dance was fiery and fierce! You can see that everyone was just loving the vibe

My husband and I were celebrating our 38th anniversary. This was our first visit to Hawaii and the Myths of Maui, our first luau.
We were greeted and welcomed by Melissa (great name) with another lady whose name I sadly did not get, when we arrived early for VIP. Maybe next time we will wait a bit longer before lining up, as 2nd in line, we did get front rows seats but off to the side, away from the single performace and the beautiful sunset next to the beach.
The food service was delicious although I was not aware it would be a buffet and was hoping for a more traditional dinner. The servers and bartenders were very friendly, happily answering any questions.
The band was awesome both with the preshow music and the accompaniment throughout the show.
The dancers were phenomenal. The performances were breathtaking and they made it seem so fun and effortless. They were all wonderful!
The host was fun and entertaining, he joked, he sang and shared the story of the islands throughout the show.
The serving staff was great. Our table server Warren was attentive making sure we had water and drinks through the night.
We have to remember to appreciate the backstage crew, sound and lighting too. I would hope the dancers had assistance for all the costume changes. And the light and sound technicians there to enhance the performance made it that much more special.
We had such a great time we would love to visit again when we return to Maui!
