I am always impressed with the quality actors in this town. This historic Theater always has polite and helpful volunteer staff. The inside was recently painted with murals, very pretty. Google it for pics.

Best historic, renovated theater in the west! Even has a balcony! Love the Paul Emery Presents series! Saw many shows, most recently Rambin" Jack Elliott & then Broken Compass! Great for movies, plays & music! Every seat is a great seat, very comfortable & classic!

My husband and I were invited by a family friend to watch RENT at Nevada Theater this past weekend while visiting, and I loved it! The theater is small and perfect for that personal feel experience and the atmosphere was overall fun. Parking is not great however, so definitely be there early (we got super lucky and found parking just as someone was leaving from right across the theater) The play itself was really good and had a very talented cast, and the theater staff were very friendly and polite. They had refreshments (including cocktails) and snacks available before and during intermission. Finally, I believe they have 3 bathrooms. One for the ladies, one for the gentlemen, and one for both. The one I went to was the one for both, which was for just one person. I don't know if bathroom for ladies or gents had more stalls, or how many, but the ladies line was looong ( I had just one person ahead of me, and none behind).

I thoroughly enjoy going to this awesome little theater. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The last show I saw was Snow Falling on Cedars, and it was wonderful.
