We got this happy boy from there last week, and he has been the light of our life:) The owners were very friendly. It seemed well run. They have about 1-2 litters a year, and their vet gave them good reviews. He said they have an Indiana Council that keeps many of the breeders in check with keeping up vaccinations/ etc. Our pup came with AKC registration papers, and an update of his Rabies shots and 5 way vaccinations. They are more of a backyard breeder, and they are great with communication. Our pup has adjusted fine, he’s a bit timid, but he’s gotten along well with his new collar and leash, and he’s starting to get the hang of potty training. Overall, we have been happy with our sale/adoption:) He is adjusting, like any pet has to.

This lady is a puppy mill breeder, shes amish and its how she makes her money to live. Weve gotten not only 1, dog from her with TONS of problems (we took back), but we believe we got ANOTHER from her, taken by another breeder who nursed HER pup back to health. She doesnt take care of her dogs medically, theres obviously no guarentee, and theyre NOT akc dogs. The only way she can get her puppies inside her barn is by legitimatly throwing dog food on the ground in the loose dirt. Our first was scared and didnt know what a bowl was. He was completely shut down, we took him back after 6ish months. Our 2nd one, shes almost 18 months and weighs 45 pounds, her health was stunted drastically cutting her life span in half. This can be caused by worms, not taking care of fleas. These dogs have NEVER been inside a house before. She is literally the WORST UNETHICAL breeder EVER. Her pups arnt healthy, they come with TONS of problems, Theyre not tested, health guarenteed, or anything. Its all amish community and its all for the money of living.
