I can't thank Dr. Weber and his staff enough. Recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Wilbur, and they were able to get us in right away. Even though we live in Washington, I will always make the drive to have my dog seen here because of the sheer compassionate care Wilbur receives every time.

Dr. Weber also saved Wilbur’s life—and the lives of his surviving siblings—after a traumatic home birth. Their kindness, expertise, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for the best care for their pets. Thank you Dr. Weber for being an amazing vet to my chunky monkey!!!

Exceptional Care and Expertise!

We cannot thank this amazing team enough for the outstanding care they provided to our fur baby during an emergency surgery. They truly went above and beyond our expectations! From the very start, they took the time to sit with us, ask thoughtful questions, and carefully assess what was wrong. Not only did they quickly find a solution, but they also explained everything in detail, giving us peace of mind during a stressful time.

On top of their incredible care, the cost for the treatment was affordable, which made a world of difference. This team genuinely cares about their patients and their families. I will absolutely be referring everyone I know to this veterinary hospital—it’s more than worth the drive!

Thank you so much for saving our beloved pet and treating us like family!

Our frenchie just had his first appt with Dr. Weber and I have so many wonderful things to say about our experience. The staff was amazing and so friendly and professional. Dr. Weber gave me plenty of time to ask a lot of questions and I did not feel rushed at all. He was so thorough in his exam of our frenchie. Our appointment was great from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and the clinic is clean and inviting. We were seen right on time. Thank you for great service. I am so happy that our breeder, Angela Alvarez made the recommendation to see Dr
Weber. We feel like our little guy will be in wonderful and caring hands looking after his health.

We have been clients of Newberg Veterinary Hospital for almost four years. After every visit, I have always been very pleased with the service that we received. As a Mother of Dogs (currently four labs) flexibility is very important to me when unexpected issues come up. They are great when providing routine care for adults and puppies but excel when more urgent matters have cropped up.

Our vet was unable to see us when our dog needed help most so we went here for the first time. The receptionist took us seriously and got us in right away and cared for our dog and us with the highest quality. Unfortunately our dog didn’t make it but the staff took care of him until the very end even lighting a candle for him at the front desk. For being one of the hardest days for us they made us feel very cared for and even waved the visit fee. We are so thankful and appreciative for the care we received at such short notice.. Thank you to the vet who cared for Bear, I appreciate her guidance and options. We were never rushed and the nurses who helped us were so sweet. Thank you for taking care of Bear, your kindness made that difficult day easier.

Roger actually got his sweet dog, Willie, from Newberg Veterinary Hospital(via Yamhill County Animal Shelter ). Willie was found in McMinnville and taken to Newberg vet. They celebrate his birthday starting on September 15, 2010. Willie was loved and very, very well taken care of there. Whenever we traveled he was boarded at Newberg vet and had many friends! He loved them all and his tail always wagged going to visit. Through the years his health slowly declined, but he still loved going to Newberg Vet. On his last days, he had stopped eating, and we knew it was time to let him go. The love and compassion from Newberg Vet was truly from his second family that shared so much history with him.

My pup had an ear infection, and I was having a heck of a time getting an appointment for her that wasn’t booked out a week or more away. I called six or seven different vets in the area until one suggested I reach out to Newberg Veterinary Hospital as they are a little bigger and might be able to squeeze us in. Sure enough, they kindly booked us an urgent care appointment for the very next day! Even better, when they had a cancellation the morning of, they gave us a call and offered to move us to an actual appointment. The urgent care appointments are open for an hour and they just see you as soon as they have availability, so we while we would have happily kept that spot, it was nice not to have to wait with a miserable dog. Not only that, but it is my understanding that they will accept walk ins, too. Having had a not-so-great experience at an emergency vet, it is comforting knowing this is an option.

Once in, everyone from the front desk staff to the vet techs and doctor herself were so pleasant and friendly. My Great Dane wanted to meet ALL THE PEOPLE but they have a small divided section off to the side of the waiting room which was nice as I could take her over there a little away from the excitement and she could just relax and stop bugging everyone. We waited maybe five minutes, and then once we were taken back to the room they were super fast too! We only had a few minutes wait between the exam, running tests, and pulling her meds. We saw Dr. Johnson and she was so patient with my anxious pup, explained the diagnosis and medications clearly, and happily answered questions. My favorite part of all: I was able to pay in the room and head right on out! It is so nice not to have to go back to the front desk and wait for help and then make payment.

Only real negative I can give is that parking is pretty limited, so just plan ahead as it might be a bit of a struggle to find a spot. I can hardly complain about that, though, I am so grateful to have found a kind veterinary clinic that is able to see my pets on short notice.
