This place is a joke. It felt like the poorest county fair that I have ever been to. Not only did they promise me exclusivity as a vendor but they broke their contract with me and slandered my name to the point that I lost a future event. They have no rides, hardly any food, and no attendance. Their advertising campaign was next to nothing. I do not recommend this fair to anyone.

It has been over 20 years since I went to the Norhern District Fair...well it would be swell to take little ones not meant for teenagers or adults. No benches or seating. Not sure if it's been this way for awhile or just a reflection of the new fair group...but workers needed to push start rides, hold buttons down to keep rides running and on the swing ride had to he had to grab empty swing to stop ride? Not sure if it was mi-Osha approved or safe? Quite a disappointment.

What a mess. This fair is a waste of time and money. 5 run down rides that cost 5$ each. Cold elephant ears, then the vendor throws a fit about making a new one. Rigged games that you win some annoying plastic noisemaker or 5 cent stuffed animal. The only thing good about this fair is leaving it.

Probably not a fault of the Civic Arena but more the vendors that put on the fair. Prices have gotten ridiculous! For the price of the fair I can take my family to Michigan's Adventure and spend about the same amount! We no longer go due to that reason.

So few animals, vendors, and rides. The boys & grandma's had fun but went thru entire fair in less than an hour.

Fair was supposed to start today but went there and they were just beginning to setup the equipment .... does that mean they will be open a day later since they aren't really open on the first day? And anyone know what prices are?
