I haven't been to this library in over 10 years!

I'm looking for a job. Went upstairs to the computers and had Ryan help me. What a breath of fresh air! This guy was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. Eager to help.

They also have a large selection of books for sale.

Will be back, thank you for the awesome experience!!

Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work/study or a fun spot with your children, this library has it all. 1st floor designed for kids and 2nd floor for reading/studying/computer/printing.. Specifically there is a quiet room for study. The staff is very friendly, and the environment is welcoming. Some tables have puzzles 🧩 for a quick break on the 2nd floor which is great. Parking is free for 2 hours in front of the building, also you can find a street parking.

The kids zone was the best...children get to play without being told to shush or hush .they have tons of things for them to do including a scavenger hunt this day and they received a prize. Definitely will bring my children here again.

Beautiful library that has 2 floors full of so much to see. I love the kids zone! The play area is colorful, well organized, and clean. They offer many programs for all ages. This library is perfect to come and enjoy some quiet time and have your kids enjoy what they have to offer!

Great Job director Carol and the rest
Of her staff! Please get those that need the training that caused the officers to come, but standing up and defending our rights was beautiful from the top down!

Great library with a wealth of resources and activities. The top level boasts newspapers/magazines, a book club nook, a teen section and plenty of space to sit and read. The main floor has CDs/DVDs that can be checked out and a children's section with interactive games/activities and computers. The employees are helpful and the environment is very friendly. We spent 3 hours on a rainy Saturday morning here and the time flew by!

A fixture of my entire reading life, it would be a shame if it were to be closed down, sold and torn down.

When the library committee members are up for election early next year, please vote for Dave Wienert to insure that the library remains a part of Oak Lawn for generations to come.
