This is maybe my 5th time going to the fair and concerts and I had high expectations. There wasn't much of a crowd as it was during the weekday and daytime hours so it was great. The largest crowd was in the stands at the always fun pig races. If you haven't been, go see those motivated and talented little pigs. The main attractions were the rides, product and food vendors, the plants and animal farm areas. Fun for everyone.

The military exhibit building along the Blue gate is surrounded by plaques honoring soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in various wars. Look for the small jet propped up in front. The exhibit showed artwork by a talented local soldier and painter. The 2nd floor displayed another exhibit.

We went to OC Fairgrounds for the equistrian competition, but we missed the show on Saturday the 15th, and no much was going on on Sunday. Watching was me, my son, and another lady. I wish I knew that all the big events were gonna happen only on Saturday. Maybe a bit more information next time.

It’s been a long while since I’ve been to this fair. I enjoy how there’s very little changes compared to major changes that most fairs do. Of course prices have sky rocket but everything else was consistent and same as how I remember it before as a teenager.

My first time.going to the OC Fair, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There was a lot to see, including a lot of farm and produce, which was nice outside of the normal fair games and rides. There is also a lot of food, crafts, art pieces, etc. Lots to see and eat. Definitely worth at least one visit!

I went to the OC fair on opening day, July 14th.
I was double charged on my credit card ($18 twice), which I noticed later in the day.
It should have been $18 once for two $9 dollar seniors.
They ultimately charged me $36 .

I called, and the box office was closed.
I went back a week later, to go to the fair again, and explained my situation to the box office, figuring they would just give me two entries into the fair to rectify what they had done.
I showed the supervisor my screenshot of the double charge on my phone, and my original tickets, and receipt I saved.
They took a a bunch of information from me, and charged me once again to go into the fair.
A woman named Cat called and left a message (a few days later), and stated, they didn’t double charge me.
It clearly showed on my statement on my phone! I’ve never been double charged anywhere.
I called back five or six times to speak to her.
No one answers, and there’s no voicemail …
I called four different phone numbers from the Internet, and the one she gave me.
After exhausting all efforts, I turned it into Chase fraud department, and they removed the extra charge from my card, with no help from the OC fair staff!

I enjoyed the fair as always, it’s just too bad half of the vendors weren’t there this year.
One whole vendor hall is dedicated to something else.
The missing vendors, was kind of disappointing.

I wouldn’t have even written this review, if they hadn’t jammed me at the box office, and, or picked up the phone to speak to me.

Been a vendor at fairs for around the country for 40 plus years. People who run this show sure know how to run a good thing into the ground. What a disgrace. They dropped down to one vendor building this year. This must be attributed to their ideas and values of success.... we worked the fair for a whole month and the building has seen 0 traffic. The vendors have seen 0 business. Everyone is complaining. Just another California disgrace in the long line of fairs we don't be returning to sad end to a Era. Next year, the fair will be as bad as the California state fair, which they absolutely destroyed. Destroyed by poor fair management. People who have no clue how to run a fair. Shady undertable practices, rules, and restrictions.
