The beginner salsa class is not really for beginners. The instructor just shows off, overloads and does not pay attention to anything student does. They are in their own world. I understand that I can't learn to dance in one class but I did not pick a single thing to work on. It was a frustrating experience.

The dance classes here are phenomenal. take a class with Tika Morgan - she is a tough teacher but you will learn so much about dance, culture roots and life wisdom.

I wish Mindbody was updated when another instructor was subbing the class so that I could know whose class I was gonna taking

If you sign up for a performance workshop here, they make you pay to watch the recording of your own performance. At no point during sign up did it state that guests were not allowed to record us. Instead, on the day of the performance, we found that recording and photography is banned. This was alleviated by the fact that ODC was recording the performance, and of course assumed we would be provided a copy. Then, one month after our performance, it is announced that we would have to pay more ON TOP OF THE $325 paid to sign up to the performance workshop, just to have the pleasure of watching our own performance. Not once did we sign a model release contract. The legality of this is questionable at best and I’m considering hiring an entertainment attorney to review this practice.
On the plus side, the teachers here are incredible. The administration? Shady.

The salsa classes here are a blast, and there's a class for every comfort level. I usually buy a five-pack, which is $65. So worth it. Sometimes you go to a salsa club and pay cover and take a rubbish class beforehand. Here, you pay but you get great instructors, you learn a lot, and you have a ton of fun. The crowd that comes tends to be super fun, too. Once a month or so, the open up as a salsa party after class. Why not try it? First-timers get their first class for $5!

Absolutely love this institution for the classes variety, for the professionalism of the teachers.
Staff: the receptionist are friendly and very helpful.
Classrooms: very well lit and spacious.
Class: some classes might get crowded but all attendants are friendly should you dance and bump.
Cleanliness: with the amount of people attending it's quite good.

Loving the ODC zoom dance classes. I've taken some ballet from Marika Brussel and Chris Lam and one modern dance class so far. Excellent teachers and zoom is working great. Silver lining of the pandemic is that so many great classes are online now. (Normally I wouldn't have the time to travel to take class there.)
