I couldn’t have asked for a better horse riding experience through the splendor of the Colorado Rockies. Sky was a phenomenal tour guide, and made the experience all the better! The horses were absolute sweethearts, and the trails were through some of the most beautiful terrain on the face of the Earth (in my humble opinion). The staff are wonderful people, and definitely make you feel at home and like you’re part of the family. 10/10 will do again!

This was my first time horse back riding and it was a blast! All of the trainers were great and provided great instructions on how to handle the horses.
I was paired up either Ducky and he was simply a charm! He followed along and was very sweet! We had a group of 11 (All first time riders too) and everyone enjoyed it very much!
The only scary part was driving through the mountain if you are not used to it.

This was the best experience and everyone there was so knowledgeable and supportive. It was my first time riding a horse and they made sure I was comfortable with my horse and made me feel at ease through the entire ride. Ella was the best guide and I loved getting to talk with her and learn about the area. The horses were so sweet and easy to handle. My entire group had a wonderful time and the food was delicious as well! Highly, highly recommend.

We had such a fantastic time at Old Stage Riding Stable! Laurie and he team were so great and detailed. They were super informative,kind, and had great communication from the start. We were visiting from Dallas and they were able to work with our large group and get a scheduled pretty quickly. The food was also really good. A great snack for after a ride.
The mountain views to the stable were so beautiful. I would highly recommend pulling over to check them out on the way down.The entire experience was a 10/10.

Once in a lifetime! Very easy process to book and clear directions to get there. They have a wonderful staff (we rode with Piper) and beautiful horses/property. Do not miss this opportunity, no experience necessary.

My family and I enjoyed our experience riding horses up in the mountains and through the forest. The trees provided nice shade during the ride and one hour was a great amount of time to remain comfortable on the saddle. The drive up was a bit scary but once we got there, I was happy to begin our ride! The horses were friendly and knew where they were going. The staff Kitt and Katie were great guides and other staff helped out to get all 6 of us on our horses safely. We had a variety of ages from 7-60 and we had no issues. Jenny was great with communication and because of afternoon rain, we rescheduled through text for the following morning. We are extremely happy with our rides and will go again to this location next time!

This place was great. From the moment I called to book my reservation I was greeted by the nicest people. Answered all my questions and was easy to book. Directions there were very clear and it’s a beautiful drive up. Once we arrived the fell and look of the old West made you feel like you stepped back in time. We wanted a Mountain View ride and this did not disappoint. My girls loved every minute of it and so did I. From the meadows, to the mountains, past a waterfall, and an abandoned mine you couldn’t ask for better. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the ride even better. And when we were finished we gave our horses some treats and walked over to the cantina for some delicious BBQ and drinks. Thanks for great memories. We will be back.
