Soy una estudiante y me encanto la escuela al primer día de la escuela me sentí nerviosa pero la maestra Britany me ayudo mucho y me sentí segura luego de empeze a tener muchas amigas y luego tuve a una mejor amiga y llevo 2años y medio con ella pero bueno me gusta esta escuela y me hicieron sentir bien y segura

Lent Elementary is a good school. There are a couple comments here that are pretty mean and don't represent the total. The bathrooms were remodeled in the past year. The library does not turn you away for books with too few pictures. The school is now all Spanish immersion. There are regular meetups and the new principal is sticking around. This school is good and heading towards great!

The 2023-2024 school year for the first time that Lent was a full DLI school and our child's first year at Lent. They had a very positive experience. Their teacher worked very hard both in the classroom and for extra circulars. Our child learned a lot and enjoyed going to school. There's a good sense of community at the school. The building itself is old like many of the elementaries in PPS but it is maintained.

Amazing teachers. My daughter grew and learned so much more going to Lents than she did going to one of the "richer" schools in Portland. This school has really great programs for computer science and after school clubs. Really great school. I'm sorry that we had to move out of the area.

The office is so unorganized with the students files and attendance also registrations. Had the WORST experiences the start off of the year. THERE WAS A GIANT RAT running around the main hall and office (Disgusting). My kindergartener was not registered after me doing it a month ahead of time. they said he couldn’t go to class because he wasn’t place in one. What?! After had to complain to the new principal that my son was upset and crying because of there lack of attention. Imagine a kindergartener waking up early getting ready for first day of school excited then they tell you your not registered yet because the office ladies didn’t do their JOB!!!
I called in to excuse my 2 kids because they had the flu the whole week...& the attendance is calling me every day saying they are not excuse yet and is absent. I had already call them twice being place on hold for 10min and then the older lady was being rude. Why the hell are you working with kids if you are so miserable and lack attention to getting things right? To be fare I’ve only ever gotten help from Jacky in the office the others are pointless to talk to. I’m considering moving schools next year because of the headaches.

I went to this school back on the late 70's I still can remember all my teachers names from Mrs deans 1/2 kindergarten to Mrs Donahue's 6th grade my grand parents attended school there too shocked they are still up and going the good old days ☺️

My friend went to this school, and she said she was forced to help the other students, who pretended to be her friend, but were bullying her, and forcing her to do their work for them. there was no reading at her level, she was done before the teacher had finished speaking, and she was way too good at everything. She also only had one real friend. AND she was turned away from checking out a book from the library there because 'it didn't have enough pictures'.
