The food here is absolutely incredible. So flavorful, clearly made by people who love the art of cooking. The yucca was simple but delicious, and the mussels were so amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fried sweet plantains were so good. I have zero complaints about anything! Service was attentive, and Paco was great to meet! Thank you so much for exceeding our expectations!! I wish I could come every day- definitely worth traveling to!

Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. We had two Palomas and a margarita—each one was perfectly balanced and refreshing.

For appetizers, we went with the mixed fish and shrimp, which was so fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I had the club sandwich, and my man had the steak sandwich—both were absolutely mouthwatering! Every bite was packed with flavor, and we left feeling more than satisfied.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, amazing drinks, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing! I can't think of any critique. The salad, tapas, and entree were amazing. We tried the bacon wrapped dates, stuffed with Bleu cheese and mushroom croquettes. Both amazing. Then my wife had the lamb shank, with apricot reduction on the side of the plate, and I tried the grouper. I love Paco! The man is an artist. At the end of the meal I had the best espresso shot I've ever had. Everyone on the staff checked on us. Excellent service. Excellent dining experience. Would highly recommend.

You wouldn’t think going through a town of 8,000 people would have much of anything, but this town has quite a few good places for food! Pacos was the best I had here! Its Basque food is a little pricey, but it’s amazing! The chef even came out to make sure everything tasted good! I would go back again everytime I end up in South Boston!

My first time here the day after it opened and I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Paco, and getting a tour along with his future ideas. I love his ambition and the restaurant is beautiful. Now, my opniom about service and food. My waitress lied to me about not having an option of a frozen margaritas but served two other women frozen margaritas. Very disappointed. I dislike feeling like it was a race thing but, superficially, that is what it seemed like. She offered to make me one after she turned the blender on and noticed I was watching her. I declined with a smile. The drink tasted like puree and pepper. She knows nothing about wine either. The menu changes weekly. Reservations are required. The stuffed mussles were good but missing a good sauce. The pico de gallo was very acidic. The chicken with butter sauce smelled rancid and was undercooked. The rice and beans were fine. I will give this place another try in some time. They are new but clearly need some assistance now. I would love to see this business thrive so go visit and share your opinions.

We’re so happy to have authentic Cuban sandwiches & other Spanish and Cuban cuisine in South Boston! After having to order Cubans delivered from Tampa it’s a wonderful treat to have them locally. Paco & staff are very friendly and he’s so interesting to talk with. My husband loves reminiscing of his European travels with Paco, talking about villages and food. Love this restaurant & the people!

Our first time eating at Pacos. The food tasted good. However lamb shank must be cooked for a long time at a low temperature. We have eaten lamb shank at many places and it is always so tender, you don't need a knife. Mine was tough and I couldn't even cut it with a knife. It should have been cooked much longer than these were. When I ask if it's too early for lamb shank, please tell me it's too early if it hasn't been cooked long enough.
The staff were excellent. The atmosphere was nice. The acoustics are not very good for a live pianist.

First visit to Paco's for lunch and it was such a wonderful surprise!! The food was tasty, reasonably priced and served by competent, friendly people. The restaurant decor is lovely and I can't wait to come back!!
